| Recipes that are good as leftovers My young adult kids love leftovers for lunch the next day. Two of them actually don't like cold foods, sandwiches in particular. So I am looking for some ideas for dinners that will make good lunches the next day. I have done the usual spaghetti variations, fajitas and quesadillas, and beef stews-regular and stroganoff and stir fry, although mainly with chicken. I also have a casserole with pasta, chicken and broccoli in a white cheese sauce that I am making tonight. Neither are tuna fans. Any different ideas? |

| Thanks for asking this question as I feel like I'm getting in a rut lately and need more ideas of things to make that are packable for lunch the next day. One of our faves is leftover meatloaf with some steamed veggies. Chicken pot pie reheats well as do enchiladas. I do a lot of salads for lunch and like to toss in leftover steak, chicken, taco fixings, etc. You can reheat the meats or not depending on what you like.

| Meatloaf and Pot Roast are my faves reheated - in fact, sometimes I think they taste better after a night in the fridge! I also really like scalloped potatoes the next day...and what about pasta salads? (Even though they're cold)
