| Just to let everyone know - the shrimp scampi was a success! Yuuuummmmmyyyy! Dh told me it was a definite keeper! ![]() Tonight dh has requested that I make chili! I can't believe I am going to make chili in July! I don't usually make chili in the summer.....leaving it for fall and winter. So, tonight is chili, fruit salad and I am going to make brownies this afternoon for dessert.

| I'm glad your shrimp scampi was good. I kept trying to remember my recipe for you, but I mostly make it up as I go along, so it changes every time. My beef and broccoli was ok. But, I don't think I will be making it again. Tonight will be chicken fingers and asparagus. I guess we will have a starch too.

| Nothing has sounded good the last couple of nights. Last night we had a Healthy Choice frozen dinner and may do the same tonight. Not my usual game plan at all.

| Last night ended up being a sliced tomato with cottage cheese. Tonight is tuna salad and a green salad with hard boiled egg, peas, black olives, and cheese.

| Since we're hitting a record temp here of 100+ we're not cooking. Haven't cooked all week actually. So dinner will either be sandwiches, salad, fast food or maybe pizza. Depends on how hungry everyone is. The gang hasn't been much into eating in the evenings this week with the heat.
