| Tonight is Impossible Cheeseburger Pie with raw veggies and dip. Best way to stretch a pound of ground round.

| It's an old old recipe from Bisquick that my mom used to make when I was a kid. It's simple and cheap comfort food. Here's the recipe: Impossible Cheeseburger Pie - 62663 - Recipezaar I make it the same but use only 1 cup to 1 1/4 cups milk. You can change it up to be more Italian or Mexican with various spices, cheese, and toppings along with additions of grren onions, red onions, or green pepper. I even made one with chopped ham and swiss. For us it makes 6 servings along with a salad. It freezes well too.

I have a scrapbook 'crop' from 6 til midnight. Everyone brings a dish to share for dinner. Tonights theme is picnic. So I'm making egg salad sandwiches on little potato buns that everyone requests. DH will just have a frozen dinner at home. He's having a potluck at work today so he'll be eating all day anyways.

| Cheeseburger Pie....oh, the horrible memories. My mother also made it when we were younger, however she made it once, it was good, so she started making it once a week for like 2 years. Ugh. However, maybe I will try it again. Last night we had Pastrami and potato salad. I don't know what tonight is yet. Maybe grilled steak.

Tonight we're having leftover Olive Garden ravioli. I bought a catering pan of it the other night when we had OG. Adding a salad and breadsticks. Chat's making a triple chocolate cake so we're all set! Chat!
