| Baked Potatoes Do you like them? So do we, but as I've mentioned many times ... There isn't a store or a farmer's market that has good potatoes near us!!!! Want to know how bad it's been? DH just called all giddy...he was at a store and they just received a shipment of huge baking potatoes. He said, "they're the best potato I've ever seen". I asked him if he was seeing a mirage?! So he's going to bring some home. It will be interesting to see if they are as good as he thinks! How are the potatoes/veggies your way?

| Ours have been fine here. I like mine covered in Sea Salt then wrapped in foil. Baked and then served with all the fixins. Butter, sour cream, cheese, chives, etc.

| We love baked potatoes but we have been eatting oven roasted potatoes lately and are yummy. With the baked potatoes sour cream, cheddar cheese, and bacon. The potatoes here have been ok. Some of the bags we find have little bitty babies which are fine for the roasted potatoes. But for baked potatoes we like the really large ones. Which now that you mentioned have been practicaly scarce. Hmmm I won't why. |

| My family loves potatoes as well, especially smashed. I however have been avoiding them lately since I'm making an attempt at some healthier habits and reducing starches, among other things. Our potatoes are generally good around here though, since they're grown in state and "next door" in Idaho. Most of our produce has been pretty good lately.

| I don't like baked potatoes. I do like baked sweet potatoes, though. The veggies at our farmer's market and from our CSA have been small and sparse because it's been so cold here so far this summer. Everyone's garden is way behind schedule, it seems.

| I love baked potatoes. Usually with butter, but sometimes with cheese, broccoli, and bacon bits (no sour cream)!

| Never met a potato I didn't like. :This time of year we scrub them, make 1/2 inch cuts in them (don't cut all the way through), add butter in the slits, garlic powder and salt sprinkled on top. Roll up in foil and cook on med grill for about 45 min.
