| What is your favorite fair food you get? I love the milkshakes and grilled cheese at the Dairy Bar we have. I also love all of the flavored popcorn and of course an elephant ear. ![]()

| We go the the Eastern States Exposition...the Big E. I love the maple cotton candy, the baked potatoes from Maine, the hard maple sugar candies, and the famous Big E cream puffs and eclairs! Yummy!

| Where I grew up it wasn't the state fair, but the volunteer firefighters midway carnival (woo, go PA!) that I looked forward to every year. And in terms of food, you don't get much better than funnel cake freshly made, sno-cones. and a hot dog slathered with kraut. |

| no one has roast corn like the corn at the MN state fair. And we always get a tub of Sweet Martha's Chocolate Chip cookies for the all-you-can-drink milk stand. I'm not sure what my favorite is, though. DH likes the walleye fries. DD likes funnel cakes and sno cones. REVISION: I asked my family this question and DD looked at me like I was nuts. How did I forget the mini donuts?

I also love the corn on the cobs - from the Lion's Club, not the other place. And the potato curl that is made with one potato sliced in a spiral and fried. Crispy is better! | |

| At the NC State Fair, I love: ice cream at the NC State Dairy booth (just wish you could mix flavors!) roasted corn Debbie's Specialty Apples - like the ones they have at Goofy's Candy Co: Miss Debbie's Specialty Apples, Gourmet Caramel Candy Apples, Raleigh NC, - my fave is the Supreme Apple Al's French Fries mini donuts

| A footlong corndog with lots of mustard, a funnel cake with lots of powdered sugar, and a candy apple to take home! That is the only reason I go to the fair!
