| Fruit Leather? We've got tons of left over raspberries, and a food dehydrator. So, I ran the raspberries through a sieve, added a little lemon juice (to help with browning) and some honey (organic, bought from a local beekeeper) and we're trying it. Anyone ever made home-made fruit leather? How was it? Should I just chuck this whole thing, and go by some of that fake fruit roll stuff? |

| Yep, we've made a lot of it over the years. Raspberry, strawberry, blueberry, whatever was in season. My kids always liked it.

| I've never made it myself, but the real fruit leathers/roll ups are so much better then the fake ones! I think Kellogs makes some real fruits ones now as well...

| My kids love the organic fruit leather from Target. It comes in an assortment of flavors. I've also gotten some from the supermarket, but it;s about twice the price of the Target brand. In the old days, I would have made my own but no time anymore. We also used to dehydrate apple slices. Diane |
