| Who's got a breadmaker here? DH got one for his birthday from his parents - I suggested it to them, as he's been talking about wanting to try one out. He did French loaf last night and we had it this morning. It came out really well, so it's a great present already. Anyone else have one and, if so, what do you make in it?

| I've had one and used it for years. I love it. Mostly, I just make the recipe for Country White Bread (came in the recipe booklet with breadmaker) which DH and I find delicious. We use the bread mostly for toast.

| My mom got one for Christmas YEARS ago, so its a dinosaur now. She use to make cinnamon raisin bread, onion&cheese bread and buns and of course plain bread. Towards the end of its "counter" life my grandfather suggested mixing the bread in the machine then baking it in the oven!?!? Who knew by doing this the loafs were managable and fluffier.

| I actually have THREE of them, Cheryl. (Two were sent to me from PassPorters, but because they didn't have Gluten Free cycles, we ended up buying a BreadMaster.) We make GF loaves for sandwiches. But I'm looking forward to using it to make pizza dough as well. Eileen

| I have a Welbilt that I love!!! In fact, it's my second one, I wore out my first one! I make all sorts of bread, from "Kulich" Easter bread to cheese bread to baked potato bread to citrus bread. In fact, I think I may make some bread today!

| I have one from about 15 years ago. I don't make much in it anymore. An occasional loaf of sourdough or country white bread.

| We have one that DH insisted I wanted. Ummm, no - it was his idea. I used it for a while, and then put it away. For me, it was easier to make my own and end up with manageable loaves (I don't like the giant loaves the thing cranks out). I like the idea of using it to make the dough, and then using the oven to bake it. Hmmmm..... Anyway, DH started using it about a year ago (after about 5 years of being left in the cabinet, all alone and unloved) and makes some absolutely yummy onion bread. |

| We have one that's a few years old. DH loves that thing. He loves making the white bread or sour dough.

| My mom used to make bread in hers all the time and it was really good. I prefer to make bread the old fashioned way because I just love kneading and shaping the dough. Oh, my mom used to make pizza dough in her machine too, and dough for cinnamon rolls and stuff like that. She'd let it mix and rise in the machine and then take it out and do the rest by hand.

| I have one, but don't use it much. The loaves it makes are too big for just my DH and I to eat before it goes bad. But since I moved and I have a friend right around the corner, maybe I can split loaves.
