Hard Boiled Eggs - nothing is simpler

I always have hard boiled eggs in my fridge. 20yr old DD is trying to get from 110 to 105 pounds and she grabs one for a snack when she is hungry. I take one to work in the morning for breakfast if I am running late. I make egg salad (with light mayo) for sandwiches. I should have started doing this years ago.

Do you have any other easy staples that you always have?

Vanilla yogurt (add whatever fruit is in the fridge) and precut oranges in quarters.

I do the same with hardboiled eggs. I also like to keep vanilla yogurt on hand and cottage cheese.

Cheeses. Cheddar, provolone, colby, co-jack, american, parm, kassari - they're all in the fridge all of the time.
In a hurry and want to pack a lunch? - grab some crackers and your choice of cheeses, a piece of fruit or a veggie, and you're ready.

freezer waffles. I eat them for breakfast, make one with some peanut butter on it for a quick snack, and they are also nice for making a sandwich in a pinch.

We always have snack items in, like chips or mixed nuts, so we can grab those if we're desperate and lots of fruit around as well.
