Oh yeah, I have my big trusty 12 cup pot for when I have guests or for when my dad comes to visit. My dad makes a pot of regular and my mom uses the Keurig for her decaf, so it all works out.

I don't have the extra cup thinger because I LOVE the flavored coffees that they offer in the K-cups and I don't think that regular flavored coffee is as good.

So there is a feature that you can use your own coffee for it?

Yup, you can buy an extra piece that is shaped like the K-cup but that you can put your own coffee into.

It's called My K-Cup and here's a link: Bed Bath & Beyond - Keurig® My K Cup® Filter

Sounds like a coffee maker that Santa may need to bring for Christmas to Sam and I. I've always wondered about it as we are pretty "snobby" about our coffee taste (well me more than him). Hmm, I know the place I order my monthly coffee club does the K-Cups as well - in fact they offer free shipping if you buy the k-cups. Speaking of coffee I just spilled coffee beans AllLLLLLLL over the kitchen floor! LOL Guess I wouldn't have that problem any more! LOL

I love the Peppermint Hot Chocolate from Starbucks - I usually split one with DH so that can be a help with the calories. The Eggnog Latte, on the other hand, is a seasonal treat I really look forward to (no sharing on that one). I usually go to Starbucks once every week or once every other week and the Latte is my afternoon pick-me-up when I'm holiday shopping.

I love the peppermint mocha as well. I will have to go and have one in December, as well as the gingerbread latte.

Hey we buy ours from Green Mountain as well. I was looking at the 'big boy' of the K-cup coffee makers. Do you think it's necessary? It filters water and we have the WORLD'S WORST hard/nasty tasting water. But we do get 10% off the sale price and free shipping on the cups if we buy 5 boxes a month. Hmm, decisions, decisions.

If you regualrly need to filter your water anyway I would say it may be worth the investment to get the one that does it for you. My water is fine so I fill my machine right from the tap. I have a mid-line version, nothing fancy (no digital display or anything) and it makes a small and a large cup of coffee which suits me just fine. Though...I have seen the ones that will make iced coffee and I have to say, that is pretty sweet.

If you drink coffee every day you could probably go through 5 boxes in a month without difficulty. My other fav places to get K-Cups are CoffeeCow.com and Bed, Bath and Beyond. You can also find them on sale at Kohls sometimes.

See that would great and fun to be able to try different stuff and I LOVE the idea of being able to have a flavored coffee. I noticed on Green Mountain (which is where we get our monthly coffee), they have Cinnamon roll and all sorts of other types of flavors. Talk about a lot less calories. Then I can add my own "milk" and "sugar" and not have the super high calories of the drinks at Starbucks.

Plus, how great is that - you can buy the K-cups at Bed Bath & Beyond and Amazon and it sounds like an assorted amount of places. Cool!
