How often do you dine out and/or order takeout?

I'm curious, how often do you:

- go to a restaurant?
- eat at a fast food place?
- order takeout?

Restaurants...maybe once or twice a month, but that depends on if I have plans with friends or a date.

Take-Out...at home almost never. At work, again maybe 3-4 times a month for dinner. Again, it depends on who I am working with.

Fast Food...if you don't count Subway, then maybe once a month.

When we lived in the city we ate out often. A block away was a small district of local owned places. During the spring you would always find us at one of the places side walk tables. With that said, we went during Happy Hour. Half price apps and drinks. Soda is free during the 3 hours 4-7pm. We could go up and enjoy ourselves for under $15.00 (3) of us.

We now live in a suburb of St Louis and there are just the big chain places around. We do not like most of them. So I cook at home and we eat on our new patio at our new house. I miss going out but I LOVE our new home and area!

Typically, my best friend and I will meet for breakfast every other weekend at our favorite place. Otherwise, we pretty much only eat out for a special occasion, like a birthday. We'll do take out a couple of times a month for dinner. Fast food, almost never.

I very rarely eat out, aside from when I'm on vacation. Maybe 1 or 2 times a year I'll eat out. I can't remember the last time I went to a fast food place (outside of the Disney parks!) and I never order takeout. It's easy for me to keep to a strict food budget since I like to cook and always have a Disney trip planned when I know the food budget will be forgotten!

We only eat at restaurants on birthdays/anniversary/WDW. Take out, maybe once a month. And fast food, usually once a week if I'm on my way to the grocery store after work. I find that if I'm full of questionable food, my stomach doesn't ask me to buy things that aren't on my list.

We usually eat out every Saturday night after church (usually Panera Bread). I usually have a Chipotle buritto once a week, when I food shop. And we have Dunkin' Donuts for breakfast Sunday mornings.

- go to a restaurant? Usually once week...occasionally twice. (We live in Savannah where there are SO many good restaurants, it's hard to say no. )
- eat at a fast food place? Almost never. I can't even remember the last time I had fast food.
- order takeout? We usually get pizza 1 or 2 times a month and Chinese take out maybe once every six wks or so.

Because of our need to stay gluten-free (and the cross-contamination issues with most restaurants), we only eat out once a month, and then only from places that have good GF processes.

We never do take-out.

DH and I go to a restaurant about twice a month. Other than that, I usually meet a friend for lunch once or twice a month as the restaurants around where she works offer great lunch specials.

Fast food - I don't eat that nearly as often as I used to! Nowadays, it's maybe 1 or 2 times a month. That's not counting Subway - I could eat those subs every day if they weren't so expensive over here!

Takeout - I can't remember the last time we ordered takeout. We only have two places that deliver in our area, both of which are pizza places. Both DH and I prefer our homemade pizza to theirs. I wish there was a pizza place around here that offered American-style pizza (like Pizza Hut).

More then we should. In the past 2 1/2 years my husband has been gone for about 3/4 of that so it stinks cooking for me and 2 kids. Plus we end up with tons of left overs and so food gets wasted because I can usually only get them to eat once for left overs and honestly that is all I can stand.

go to a restaurant? Maybe once every 2 months or so if we have the money

- eat at a fast food place? If Abby isn't with us, we don't and since she usually stays home with Grammy, we almost never fast food anymore. We've probably gone all of 3 times since December when we got McDonalds gift cards from a friend.

- order takeout? From the Chinese restaurant, probably only 2 times a year (but not New Year's Eve anymore). Pizza/subs probably once every couple of months if we have the money.

Wow - we eat out too much! Usually go out to lunch on Saturday, Sunday. Fast food - pick up lunch almost every day, but I do try to get salads, sandwiches etc. Take out - not too often. Most dinners we make/eat at home.
