I'm trying to cut back on soda (both regular and diet) because it's just so unhealthy. Now, technically, I know drinking just plain water is best - but it also gets boring...
So I was wondering: Do you guys add anything to your water that isn't full of artificial sugar or sweeteners?
The only idea I have is adding a bit of fruit juice.
I broke my soda addiction by switching to seltzer with lime. Still have the fizz and flavor without any sugar. Since I travel weekly, I purchased packets form the TrueLemon website. So far it's working - haven't had a soda since last July.
Good Luck.

I buy the sparkling water at Costco. They have a hint of fruit flavor but it isn't sweet. I think the main reason I like pop is the carbonation. You could also try sparkling green tea? good luck!
I stopped drinking soda about 6 or 7 weeks ago. I drink water, but usually add some lime slices or lemon slices (can't seem to drink it plain unless it's from a bottle). I also have been drinking tea (hot and cold - unsweetened). Honestly, I feel much better because I'm better hydrating myself and getting all that bad stuff out of there!
I have been trying to increase my water intake. Most of the time I drink straight water. I really enjoy Sparkling Ice, it is a brand of sparkling water that is flavored. I also like to mix iced tea and crystal light (kind of like an Arnold Palmer).
My kids are fans of Mio. They like the sweet tea flavor best. They like it better than the powder packets like Crystal Light because you can just squirt a bit in and make it too your liking. The packets made water too strong for their taste, and if they didn't use it all, I had all these little open powder packets in the pantry. It was a mess.
Thanks for posting this. I am not a fan of plain water but know I have to drink more. Unfortunately, I love my Diet Coke and have been trying to give it up.
Those Mio have just come out here. Been thinking of trying them, so now will give them a try.
I don't drink enough water either. I don't drink enough fluids at all during the daytime and that has gotten me into trouble.
I wish they would come out with water with flavour without additives...no sugar, no artificial flavours or natural sweetners...just water with flavour added to them.
When I was in florida, I loved that Nestle Ice tea without sugar. They had it on the Dream and even at McDonalds. I can't get it here. If anyone has it in their house, could you post what it is labelled incase it finally makes it here, or I make it to the USA??? It was soo yummy and I drank it without adding any sugar (people looked at me strange)
I've looked into Crystal Light but unless you use the "Pure" kind, all the other flavors have artificial sweeteners in them - which is what I'm trying to avoid altogether.
