| a Summer time Desert for the Diet Pixies (and any one else ) This is a great recipe for those who want something light but satisfying.... STRAWBERRY PIE 1 box SF FF Vanilla Pudding (must be the cook & serve) 1 Box SF Strawberry Jello 2 Cups of water Strawberries Line bottom of pie plate with sliced strawberries. Over Med heat, stir in 2 cups water with pudding mix. Cook (constantly stirring) until thickened & comes to a full boil. Then stir in Jello mix & mix well. Pour mixture over the strawberries & place in refrig until set. ENTIRE PIE IS 4 POINTS if you are following WW I tried it out last night on DH and he really enjoyed it. You can also add a dab of whipped cream... This is great for a hot summer day. | Re: a Summer time Desert for the Diet Pixies (and any one else ) I have one w/ a slight variation that I got at a WW meeting. The points are a little higher but it is soooo good. Lowfat graham crackers 2 fat free snack packs of vanilla pudding 1 pint of strawberries 1 pack if SF jello 1 cup of Splenda sweetner 1 tsp of cornstarch Prepare jello as reccommended on package in sauce pan, mix cornstarch and splenda. Heat on medium until boiling. Remove and let cool. Place low fat graham crackers in a single layer on bottom of pie plate. Layer with vanilla pudding. Slice strawberries and mix with cooled jello mixture. Spread on top of "pie". I think this recipe is 10 points for the whole pie. I have made it twice and it's very good!! I'll hafta try your way too!! |

| Re: a Summer time Desert for the Diet Pixies (and any one else ) If you like Jello, then you will enjoy this! YES! You can eat the WHOLE pie and only have to write down 4 points. I had the last of ours for breakfast this morning and it was still good. Now I want to try it with other fruits. |
