Re: Diet Pixies-Fri.7/26 Hello All! I'm still holding steady at 15 lbs. lost (at least none of it is coming back), but I'm looking more and more fit. Swimming is paying off! Anyway, happy news for DH, as he has lost a total of 24 lbs. My mom-in-law is coming this weekend (Yea!), and she spoils us...hopefully we can keep her reigned in and have nice, healthy meals. I'm planning on cooking out on the grill, including chicken, so shouldn't be too bad. Happy Day!

Re: Diet Pixies-Fri.7/26 Good morning, Pixies! I've done good on keeping within my points overall, until I had pizza last night. ugh! Today's another day. I didn't life yesterday, and hopefully I'll get it in today, but, if not there is a LOT of housework to be done (the in-laws are coming ) and I've got a room to clean. I also thought about rearranging the furniture so that we can fit two pack-n-plays in there . We'll see how that goes. But, I figure that is a workout in itself! Have a great day/weekend, everyone!

Re: Diet Pixies-Fri.7/26 Good morning! I managed to stay the same today when I stepped on the scale. Yesterday I was doing great, only up to 9 points after lunch, leaving me with as many as 15 points to use later. Well I used them and then some! Fortunately it wasn't as bad a binge as it could have been because I was so angry at first that I took off walking to the mall. I find that walking really helps calm me down. Well, I did the mile and a half to the mall in under 15 minutes! (toldja I was mad) Took me 18 minutes to get home, but I was still upset and that's when my mouth took over. I would have been ok, if I hadn't drank the "wobbly pops" because alcohol has high points for no food value. Wasted 9 ( !) points on booze. Last night I just said a little extra prayer (for myself for a change) and this morning I do feel better even though yesterday's situation is still the same. Hoping for a better day today...

As for me, my Pixie friends, I woke up with a headache, and it made me kinda crabby. Plus I have a deadline to meet today, and need to get packed for the weekend (family reunion, here's hoping I don't totally blow the points!). I'll try to check in before I leave ... but if not, I'll see you all Sunday night. xoxo! | |

Re: Diet Pixies-Fri.7/26 Wierd day for me. I went to put on jeans this morning for the first time in awhile. I put on a pair and they felt kind of loose (cool!), then I realized I was wearing DH's pants Found a pair of mine and put them on, and lo and behold they were kind-a loose too! Even though I haven't made much headway on the dieting, it looks like the exercising (swimming) might be making a difference. I have noticed that my stomach seems firmer lately, which is very cool . Hope it isn't just wishful thinking . Good luck to everyone over the weekend! -HiddenMickey

Re: Diet Pixies-Fri.7/26 OMG . . . it MOVED! The scale actually MOVED! And in the correct direction, mind you! Now granted, the 2 lbs. it dropped MAY have something to do with that particular time of the month. (I must be the only woman on the planet who LOOSES weight during her period!) But then, maybe not. I'm hoping, anyway. So far this week I've walked every single day -- some days hiking and some on the treadmill. Today is a treadmill day. I plan to do at least 3 miles in 55 minutes. The weekend is a big ???. I've got dog shows both days -- which means a certain amount of running around in the heat, but also a certain amount of eating poorly. No way will I either walk or get on the treadmill on either day. Have to hope for the best! Happy weekend!
