Stuck at 175

Just venting..

I have been sort of "stuck" at 175 pounds - I am on WW. I started at 198 and seemed to be moving at a great pace slow but steady. I am going to walk some more and see if that gets things going. Hopefully, it will. Just a little frustrated!!!!

Re: Stuck at 175

I know how you feel - I've lost 25 pounds and just stuck there - can't go any further. But it's my own fault because I haven't been eating like I should. Do you walk in the mornings? Morning exercise jump starts your metabolism, and you are burning more fat since you haven't taken in calories yet.

Good Luck - vent here anytime!!

Re: Stuck at 175

Usually, I can't get up and out before 7 which is the time that morning starts with kids, showers, etc. But, the summer is coming and I might be able to switch things around..

Venting may have taken a load off- I weighed this morning and I was 172! Not much but not 175 either- woo hoo!

Re: Stuck at 175

I would definately try and go for a longer and faster walk whenever you can. Also, if you are going to WW, are you doing the points? If you try and eat up to the "high end" of you daily points, try just going to the "middle" of your point range on a daily basis. I know that it is so hard when you get stuck for awhile. Think positively about what you have accomplished so far and the rest will come off. Hope this helps.

Re: Stuck at 175

I usually go for the middle of the points range and a few days ago I went a point or two lower just to see. I think that may have helped - but the real test to me will be the next weigh in...
