Well I won't be getting on those scales for a while again. DH and I are going out to eat tonight for our 22nd wedding anniversary which is actually tomorrow....and good ole' Aunt Flo showed up this morning too. So forget it!!
Hey Donna! Is the pie gone yet? Good for you for passing up the dried doughnuts! I've been known to in the past to eat them anyway! LOL
Hi Marie! Sounds like you and I are in the same boat. I've pretty much given up on loosing any weight in the next 2 weeks. I'll just have to deal with any weight gain from the cruise when I get back. Hopefully there won't be any! I didn't gain any at WDW last year, so maybe the cruise will be just as kind to me! [img]images/icons/smile.gif[/img]

Happy Anniversary Cindy!!! Congratulations!

I finally got back on the treadmill this morning after a week of being lazy. But then I stopped for a biscuit for breakfast which pretty much canceled out the exercise! And I am hungry as we speak.

Another baddie: I bought halloween candy yesterday. I found the most awesome candy for reece's p.b. cups lovers: Reece's Inside Out. Peanut butter on the outside and chocolate on the inside. Help! I'm falling out of the pixie chick wagon!

Cindy, enjoy your anniversary dinner! We're going out for dinner tonight too -- DD turned 14 today! At least this is the last celebration until Dec. 15 when it's DH's turn for a birthday!

Those Reese's Inside Out's sound way too yummy! I'm with Rachel! They sound addicting -- I hope I never see one!

I weighed in last night. What a shock! Ok, not really! [img]images/icons/wink.gif[/img] I gained 2 pounds. I'm not going to get upset about it though, we've done a lot of feasting this past week. I did walk to the meeting last night rather than drive. It took me about 25 minutes at a really quick pace. I'm figuring it's nearly 2 miles there. But I did make DH pick me up and drive me home - it would have been dark before I made it home if I'd walked.

Oh, and yes, the pie is finally gone! The kids must have finished it off last night! Whew! [img]images/icons/tongue.gif[/img]

Aunt Flo, oh no!!! Well, at least she won't be there for the cruise! And I don't know about you, but two weeks after Aunt F. comes is when I'm the least hungry or tempted by food. But buckle up, there's gonna be LOTS OF IT!!!! (RCCL is famous for their Flourless Chocolate Cake...for a good reason!)

Some evil person plopped her whole batch of sugar cookies on my desk. Yes, I had a few (I thought it would be rude not to seeing as barely anyone speaks to me here and the baker is always very friendly to me--but still evil for placing them on my desk!) AND I had an Everything bagel for breakfie, so I'll probably skip lunch and then have a salad before class and then a snack around 8 if I get hungry. A small snack...like crackers or an apple (but sometimes apples give me a headache.)
I stepped on the scale this morning and I was one pound LESS than my comfort zone...only 9 pounds to my target weight...so why do I still feel so chubby?

Hope everyone can will-power themselves through the trick-or-treating season! There's lots of candy just waiting to be bought...and even worse, it goes on sale November 1! Why do they have to make them so cute??? [img]images/icons/grin.gif[/img]
