| Re: Trying a recipe from my NEW Disney recipe book! *UPDATE* The pie was a hit! It puts you in the mind of a Pecan pie, but these nuts don't get stuck in your teeth as bad lol! Here's the recipe:Macadamia Nut Pie 1/2 cup butter (i used the real stuff) 1/2 cup brn. sugar 1/2 tsp vanilla extract 1/8 tsp salt 3/4 cup light corn syrup 3 eggs 2/3 cup coarsly chopped macadamia nuts (I used a little less than one jar of dry roasted macadamia nuts) 1 9 inch pie shell Preheat oven to 400. Cream together butter, sugar, vanilla and salt. Blend in syrup. Add eggs slowly, stirring until well mixed. Fold in nuts. Pour into pie shell. Bake for 10 min, then reduce heat to 325 degrees and bake for about 35-40 min or until center is set. Very easy! Enjoy!! |

| Re: Trying a recipe from my NEW Disney recipe book! *UPDATE* Thanks Shonnie but we're not Pumpkin eaters unless it the roasted seeds. LOL Thanks Margo That's the one I was looking for but could not find. I printed both out for Sue. Looking forward to her trying it. I wonder if we can cut it down to 4 servings. If not we'll need more ramekins. |
