Re: Taco Salad Recipe Needed! All I do is brown some ground beef or chicken and use the taco seasonings in the little packets. Then I throw it together with lettuce, cheese, salsa and whatever else sounds good. Oh, and I like to eat it with doritos!

Re: Taco Salad Recipe Needed! I do pretty much the same thing. Lettuce, ground beef w/ onions and taco seasoning, tomatoes, refried beans, cheese, avocados, sour cream, and whatever looks good in the fridge. Ohhh! that sounds good!

Re: Taco Salad Recipe Needed! I use ground turkey and prepare as directed on the packet of taco seasoning. Pre-packaged shredded lettuce is the base. I crunch some tortilla chips on top of this and top with the turkey mixture. Some additional fixin's I like to add are: chopped tomatoes, purple onion, green onion, taco sauce, sour cream, shredded cheese. Hmm, I think I need to go to the grocery store Good luck with the taco salad and any other cravings you may have!

Re: Taco Salad Recipe Needed! Taco Salad 1 lb. ground beef, rinsed and drained 1 can chili hot beans, drained 1 tomato, diced 1 green pepper, diced 1 onion, chopped cheddar cheese 1 bottle Catalina dressing fritos corn chips just combine all ingredients and chill. you can play with the amounts to suit your tastes. If I don't have chili hot beans, I have used rinsed pinto beans or kidney beans and they all work fine. If you're making ahead of time, don't add the fritos until serving. diet tip: omit fritos and serve over a bed of lettuce.
