| The Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian - NEWS Seeing as The Lion Witch and The Wardrobe has out sold even Harry Potter (and that is an amazing feat), Walden Media and Disney has decided the move forward with preproduction of the next chapter...Prince Caspian. Andrew Adams has once again signed on to direct the movie. This is going to be a big step for the series. Keep in mind that Disney is producing them in the order they were written and not chronologically as many of the full book sets organize them. If you are interested in keeping up with preproduction, casting, and any other news...I plan on passing it along on this thread and feel free to do the same. I love these stories and I’m very excited that Disney is committing to immortalizing them on screen with films that rival the quality and emotion of the books. Thanks! |

Here is a really interesting article on what order you should consider reading them in. It’s all about your personal preference. Enjoy! http://www.aslan.demon.co.uk/narnia.htm |

| Re: The Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian - NEWS I work in a store that sells DVD's almost exclusively..."The Chronicles of Narnia" is absolutely flying off the shelves...and not just the "standard" version - most purchases have been of the 2-disc "Special Edition", which runs $10 more....I think that this will be one of the best-selling DVD's of all time, if the first day is any indication. |

| Re: The Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian - NEWS A bit of musical related Prince Caspian news: If you liked the score for The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe then rest assured that Prince Caspian will not disappoint. BMI released that Composer Harry Gregson-Williams will return to write the score for the Chronicles follow-up. |
