Bad Day

Did anyone else think it was Elton John singing when you first heard this song? It was on the car radio the othe day, and I told my DS Chris it was Elton John. He said "no Mom, it's Daniel Powter." Who?? I'd never heard of him, but I think he sounds just like Elton John. I love the song, it's got a very catchy tune.

Re: Bad Day

I love that song. While I don't think Daniel Powter sounds like Elton John, I can hear Elton John doing a cover. Does that make sense?

Bad Day was getting popular and now that Idol uses it every week as it's send off song, it's all over the charts.

'kay....maybe it's just me. I haven't watched Idol, but I know how popular it is. It's sure to send a song up the charts.

Re: Bad Day

I've heard the song, but I don't really think it sounds like Elton John myself. Daniel Powter is going to sing this song at the American Idol finale.
