LOST updates Another Monday, another TV Guide to read Here's a summary of news from today's issue: - Season 2 DVD set will be available Sept. 5!!! - Season 3 begins Oct. 4, but only 6 episodes at this time. - Season 3 will continue with only new episodes every week (no pesky reruns to interrupt the story), beginning in Feb, finishing the season in May. - Season 3 is supposed to focus more on action, adventure and romance - Damon Lindeloff describes it as "more like an Indiana Jones movie this year" - Season 3 premiere mainly focuses on the abduction of Jack, Kate and Sawyer - The love triangle between these characters will be resolved (?) early in the season as Kate makes a choice. - Michael Emerson (Henry Gale) will become a regular cast member, not a guest star anymore - Desmond survived the blast in the hatch and will return - In addition to Rodrigo Santoro joining the cast as I've previously noted, there will also be 2 more new characters, to be played by Kiele Sanchez (Related) and Elizabeth Mitchell (ER), one of these three will be playing an Other. - Lindelof says to expect "a major bomb" in mid-season. Are we there yet?

Re: LOST updates Yahoo! I had heard Season 2 wouldn't be out until Oct, so I'm excited it will be available before Season 3 begins airing - plenty of time to catch up and refresh my memory of what happened.

Re: LOST updates Very interesting - and leaving the majority of season three until next spring makes sense over here, as our season usually starts around spring time, so it means we shouldn't be too far behind!

Re: LOST updates I've been ignoring my Lost withdrawal symptoms all summer but now that my summer shows have ended (So You Think You Can Dance, Entourage) or are ending (Rescue Me tomorrow night ) I will be losing my mind until October when Lost finally starts up again. Thanks for the update, sounds like it will be another great season!!
