What a game already strting with an elimination. I was playing trivia and watching not an easy thing to do. The fish eyes yuck. The climbing the wall Pretty good. So far I like my teram next week I am tapping it and watching after Trivia so I will have a better idea on who I like and don't like. Sarah is on my not like list. If she can do anything then she doesn't need to use the leg to get ahead.

Next week looks like a scare one for some teams. this is gonna be a good season.

What a great first episode. I really like the 2 moms - Lyn and Karlyn. I didn't think the littler one was going to get up that wall. The coalminer and his wife are pretty funny - after she made that comment on how the wife traditionally just sits back and the man makes all the decisions, I thought for sure that *he* would be the one yelling at her, not vice versa. He didn't seem to mind, though. And I thought it was so cute that he thought they were last, but he was still encouraging her to climb the wall and telling her he loved her. And then them being all happy they weren't last.

My team is Peter and Sarah. So far she is bugging me. And I thought it was really tacky that the Miss American pagaent girls introduced themselves and made sure everyone knew *right away* that they were contestants. Blah! Tom and Terry were pretty funny, too, when they were joining the cheerleaders in cheering while they were in those bicycles. [img]/ubb/images/graemlins/roflmao.gif[/img]

A great first episode! We thought it was interesting that they had all the other teams standing there watching the first team get eliminated.

I like most of the teams, but the cheerleaders could get on my nerves. I liked Tom and Terry looking so excited to finish the tai chi. [img]/ubb/images/graemlins/waytogo.gif[/img] And I loved David shouting to Mary that she was going to have the three proudest kids ever (or something like that) when she finished climbing the wall. I was impressed by Sarah until she started "playing the leg card" (I believe those were her words).

And how foolish were Erwin and Godwin to be playing with squirt guns in an airport? [img]/ubb/images/graemlins/foreheadslap.gif[/img] Just dumb.

My DH said that he thinks they pulled some of the weaker one up the wall, like the single moms, the Ky. mom, and Sarah. That really bothered me that Sarah used her disability when it helped her team. Having a parent who is paralyzed, I think I probably over analyze such events as that though.

I felt so bad for the 1st team that was eliminated - here they had just arrived in China, and didn't even get to see it in the daylight and were eliminated! I booed - they should have at least gotten to see the light of day.

And can you believe there is already a team who will argue about what color the sky is? (Rob &amp; Kimberly I think) I hope they don't act like that the rest of the season.

I like my team ok - the cheerleaders, and I like Lyn &amp; Karlyn, and Duke and Lauren.

I was sad when My team Rob and Kimberly started arguing. I hope they are not another Jonathan and Victoria who drove me crazy.

As far as Sara goes I think she is great, lets not forget she does not have a leg and even thought she does not feel sorry for herself most of the time....She still is missing one leg and sometimes needs extra help. If she did not run marathons would you want her to have extra help?

I thought the show was so exciting!!! Usually they save the tougher challenges until later, like climbing the wall, I don't know if I could have done it. The fish eyes were disgusting. Can't wait to see what other surprises might lay ahead!!

I missed the first half hour, but DH filled me in. Luckily I also missed the fish eyes. Blech!

I liked the male models (sorry I can never remember anyone's name!) and the father/daughter team from RI. The coalminer and his wife were hilarious - really like them.

I'm not a big fan of the girl with the artificial leg and her boyfriend - man, is he ever annoying! And what's up with telling the taxi driver that she has an emergency and has to go to the hospital! I thought that was in very poor taste.

Did anyone catch one of the teams saying chop chop to one of the taxi drivers?!

I also thought that some of the teams had help getting up that wall. Why couldn't the boyfriend go and fix the girl's artificial leg when it got out of position?

When they showed the Great Wall of China, did anyone else think it looked just like Mulan? [img]/ubb/images/graemlins/roflmao.gif[/img]
