| Guitar Hero Do any of you play this game (it's on Playstation 2)? I've never played video games before GH, and I bought a PS just so I could play it after trying it out in Wal-Mart. This game is absolutely addicting!!! I like that it's fun for all ages, and that most of the songs are recognizable. We started out with GH2, but I bought the original a few weeks ago, and I actually like it better than the second. The songs are definitely more current, and a little bit easier to play. However, I can't get past the medium level. My fingers just won't move properly on hard. Anyway, I just wanted to know if anyone else here played. If you don't, I highly recommend it as a family-video game.

| Uh, ya! We have played it at others homes, but it is NEVER in stock around here. Last time we ended up getting American Idol Karaoke instead b/c GH2 is never available. We're still waiting, though. One day we'll get it. Glad you're enjoying it.!!

| My DS(14) plays this all the time. He's very good at it. He can play most songs all the way thru on expert. Me on the other hand has a hard time on easy. I like to watch him play, he gets so into it.

| My sister rocks out so hard with the whammy bar that I'm afraid she's going to break it off. She cracks me up.

| We have GH2 I can not get past the Easy level. LOL My favorite song is Madhouse by Anthrax. Scott Ian of the band played it for the first time recently. He made me feel so much better about my playing. He had trouble playing his own song. It was quite amusing. \m/

| I have been dying to play this, as my DS says it is the best game ever! And Tina has me hankering to try AI Karaoke too.

| I have a friend who says the AI Karaoke is a blast, but I can't sing a lick, so I personally don't think it would be much fun to bust out at parties My favorite GH1 song is Killer Queen by Queen and on GH2 I really like Crazy On You by Heart. How much fun is it on GH2 when you get to the final song (for those of you who don't know, it's Free Bird, of course)? I started off playing it (after the 50 warnings they give you to practice before you start), and I thought, "Oh, this isn't so bad." And then it all went downhill from there.

Our whammy bar squeaks -- which totally cracks my husband up when I'm playing "Jessica" and trying to rack up points!! I haven't yet beaten it on Medium, but my 10 yo son is working his way through Hard and doing pretty well. I was thinking of buying the original GH the other day and, after your recommendation, maybe I'll pick it up next time I'm at GameStop! Eileen

| I definitely recommend the first GH. I think it's a little bit easier to master than the second one, and the songs are definitely more recognizable. The only thing I don't like about the original is that there is no practice room to master songs in.

| I played GH2 last night at my nephew's house, and I am terrible! It was so much fun though. I think with a little practice I could do a lot better. I only "rocked" on 2 songs, Surrender and Message in a Bottle.

| My boys are going to hate that we bought this game - I'm going to be kicking them off the PS2 all the time for 'my' turn!
