| We don't do anything special. I'll probably watch the red carpet shows, and some of the broadcast, but frankly I haven't even seen most of the movies up for nomination (except Cars  )!

| I watch the red carpet and the beginning monologue. I like Ellen, so I'm looking forward to that. I usually watch the actual awards until bedtime. They always run past 11PM, though.

| I liked it better when it was in March and near my birthday. I turned 30 the day Michael Moore did his "shame on you" speech which made quite the entertaining birthday. This year looks kinda lame, a lot of stuff went unnoticed. However, seeing as it's on ABC and that's the one channel I get, I'm sure I'll be watching!

| Ummm...... When are they on again? For the last few years, I seem to turn in at the end just to see the big awards. I may have to watch this year to see if Jennifer Hudson will win. If she does, I wonder if she will thank Simon Cowell.

| Long ago, our big group of friends used to dress up in whatever gowns we had and watch all these awards shows together. We also did the same thing for pageants, but with bigger hair and a talent portion! Now we watch together if we can, but usually with our kids. They would die of embarrassment if they knew how we used to act!

| I'm sure I'll have it on. Ellen cracks me up on her talk show, so I'd like to watch just for her. I hope Jennifer Hudson wins.  If that's not a dream come true, I don't know what is!

| It's my superbowl. I have to say, I also enjoyed them more in March, because I would remember to watch AMC's 31 days of Oscar--- I keep forgetting it's February now until a few days before. I usually just put out some snacks and Joe will make me some Margueritas. I enjoy the Oscars, but it was more fun when I could actually get out and see everything nominated--- after having kids, I've usually only seen a few things nominated which kind of stinks.
