There was a cheer heard all over the United States at the end of this week’s episode!!! Did you hear it?!?!? Nice knowing ya, Sanjaya “Fauxhawk, Cruise Director, Mustache-O, The Boss” Malakar!! Eight people in our group were brave enough to risk it all and predict Sanjaya as the “chosen one” this week: Nicole626Stitch, stretch2864 (Vicky), whoSEZ (Sandy), KimM, lauren-roxy (Lori), Luv4My4 (Stacey), fan of pan, and eeyore8484 (Karen) Way to go, everyone!!

This was our biggest week yet, with 29 PassPorters participating in our game!!

Chris received the majority of our “to go” vote with 15. Sanjaya “Fauxhawk, Cruise Director, Mustache-O, The Boss” Malakar received 8. Phil received 6.

Blake and Melinda are still tied as our group’s overall favorite with 12 votes each. Jordin received 5 votes (up from 1 last week).

As much as I hate to admit it, I think Chris is skating on thin ice, so he'd best step it up next week if he wants to stay in it. Lakisha can go though, next week. I wouldn't mind!

Honestly, I was surprised. I really thought it was going to be LaKisha because that's how the season's been so far.

Sanjaya wasn't going to win it. His time was limited. I did feel bad for the poor kid though when everyone cheered when it was announced he was going home. I tried to say it was LaKisha's family taking over the audience and cheering really loud, but I don't think I'm right. He's in the Top Ten, he's going on the tour...I hope he's well received because I'm sure he's a nice kid. He's rather entertaining!

Poor Blake though! And Melinda for doing the right thing!!!! I hate when Seacrest does that!

I wasn't home to watch live, so at almost midnight last night I was jumping up and down and dancing around my living room! Sorry, Sanjaya, but enough's enough!

I'm glad I was right, but I did kinda feel sorry for him last night. Even though he deserved to go home a long time ago, you know it's probably been hard on him having to hear all the comments about how bad he is, etc. Oh, well, he'll get over it!

Thank goodness Sanjaya got voted out!!!! I was kind of surprised that Blake and Lakisha were in the bottom 3. I thought Chris should have been in the bottom 3 instead of Blake, but I'm not really too crazy about either one of them.

I must say I'm surprised that they finally voted him off Not that he didn't deserve it Was also shocked that Lakisha and Blake were in the bottom two as well ! Next week should be interesting

There was a big cheer in my living room. My DH says it doesn't watch the show. But he sure cheered when Sanjaya's name was announced. I felt sorry for the kid especially when the tears started but ..... I'm glad we can get on with it.

Live TV is definitely weird. The thing with Simon and the Virginia Tech comment made by Chris the night before. Weird how it was handled.

I DVRed it last night and watched when I got home. OMG I was cheering! WOOOPIE!!

Blake in the bottom 4. The only thing I can figure is everyone was voting for one person trying to get Sanjaya out. I voted for Phil & Blake.

It was definitely time for Sanjaya to go but I did feel a little sorry for him when he started crying. He is just a kid and I'm sure it's been hard to hear all the negative talk. I had to laugh when he improvised the song at the end and sang"Let's give them something to talk about other than hair." Ryan shouldn't put those contestants on the hot seat to choose the group that is staying, Melinda was right to stay neutral.
I heard on the radio that Jon Bon Jovi would be helping the contestants next wee,. should be good!!!!!

I was happy too when they announced Sanjaya going home. I was still celebrating downstairs and my mom was like " Who is Sanjaya?" lol.


I was sooo upset with Blake being in the bottom 3 grrrr. He so should not have been there. Lakiesha was off this week and last, so I can understand why she was. Chris should have been in the bottom 3 too though, not Blake.

I am not sure next week there will be an elimination due to Idol Gives back. Both Tuesday and Wednesday is Idol gives back. Tuesday the Idols sing songs of compasion. Maybe they will have an elimination, but I took it as they are just doing the special show.

It was past time for Sanjaya to go. He was young and got caught up in a no win situation. From here on out it only gets harder. Everyone who is left has talent, so song selection will be crucial.
