I'm confused! LOL

What was the point in showing Ruth, Desmond's first girlfriend??? I told DH "She's the one in the helicopter!" and I was wrong.

Just who is Helicopter Girl? Des didn't seem to know who she is. She must have been sent by Penny or her Antarctic buddies...she had that picture with her. Now Des is probably thinking because he saved Charlie that he changed the course of who was going to be in the jumpsuit. I beg to differ, but we'll see.

I thought last night was a little boring compared to previous weeks. Although Sawyer's mix tape line was pretty funny. I like how he mentioned Bernard...but we still haven't seen him or Rose. UGH!

Okay, I enjoyed this one. I like Desmond and anything is better than the same old Jack/Kate/Sawyer during the entire episode week after week.

There was a picture of the old lady on the monk's desk. You know, the lady that wouldn't sell Desmond the ring. I don't know who the parachute girl is, but I have to wonder if maybe it would have been Penny had Desmond not saved Charlie. Hopefully we will find out next week who she is and why she has the picture of Desmond and Penny. I think maybe the point of showing Desmond's first fiance was so we would know that he has a history of not being able to commit. He was always running away from commitments: Ruth, Penny.

I just loved it when Jin was telling the scary story around the campfire!

i really don't like Charlie. i got super excited at the beginning of the show when he got shot. too bad it was just a premonition.

I noticed Creepy Antiques Lady (Mrs. Hawking -- another scientist/philosopher reference!) too and practically screamed when I saw that picture on the monk's desk!!

Apparently, Penny has some Portuguese connection -- the men in the listening station who "heard" the hatch explosion were Portuguese and were in Penny's employment. So, it's very reasonable to think that Penny has tracked Desmond to the island...

Hmmm.. gotta go back and rewatch it again for more info.

I thought it was an ok episode. I just wish they would answer more questions. Can't believe there's only 4 episodes left!

I want to know more about that darn magic box.
What else keeps bugging me is how there's all these shots of Ben's bag. Remember when he reaches in to get out the papers about Juliet's sister, and he had the rabbit in there when he talked to Sawyer...it seems to keep getting camera shots. I need to know what else is in the darn bag.
Kate's starting to frustrate me too. It seems as tho Sawyer is actually trying to woo her and she keeps batting her eyes at Jack. We also keep hearing about how the others need pregnant women and she keeps sleeping with Sawyer. I don't want Kate as a character to get pregnant. But I can't help seeing the coincidence.

I too saw the photo on the monk's desk, but couldn't decide who it was - I was wondering if it was the older woman with the Others, the one who was talking about Jack's tattoos.

The woman from the parachute, I can't think of the actress' name, but TV Guide had said she would be joining the show, she used to play on Las Vegas, I think. They speculated she would be one of Penny's friends, and it looks like they're right. She is obviously connected somehow. Wonder if anybody else was in the helicopter with her when it crashed? Hopefully they can get another battery from Rousseau to operate the sat phone.

Speaking of Rousseau - what in the world happened to her? Did she vanish back into the jungle when everybody else got captured by the Others? Or did she also get captured - and if so, why didn't any of the survivors care to find out what happened to her?

I also loved Jin's ghost story - funny!

What did you think about the preview of next week - Sun said, either way she loses - is Jin going to die, does she have to choose whether to keep the baby, is Jin the father?

The "parachutist" (who has been identified as "Naomi" in an upcoming cast list) is played by the actress Marsha Thomason. According to IMDB, she played on Las Vegas too.

I just saw a piece of triva about Mrs Hawking. The actress who plays her, Fionnuala Flanagan, was the maid in the movie, (are you ready for this one) ......."The Others".

I also loved Jin's scary campfire story!

I think I may just be the last Charlie fan left. I about grabbed the trash can from the bathroom as the show neared the dreaded kabob moment. I honestly thought I was gonna pass out if they killed Charlie.

I so totally missed the creepy lady's picture on the desk. I am so gonna be re watching this weeks show over the weekend.

Jin=great! Now that they have taken the brooding out, he is a fun character to have around.

I think it's also time that Kate just give in and admit that Sawyer is where it is at for her. I mean, the rest of us have so why not her?

I am a fan of Charlie, he is one of my faves, him and Claire. I was so upset at first when I saw him being killed, hoped it was a Desmond pyshic episode. Boy was I ever glad it was lol.

I thought this was a wierd episode, did not answer any questions yet again created more questions.

I too loved Jins ghost story. He is becoming one of my fave charecters too.

I knew it was the old "claw" story, but it was interesting to read it for sure! That said, now I'm wondering if the girl saying "I double-crossed you" is some sort of reference we were supposed to pick up (after our OCD on-line friends translated it )
