| Went to see La Vie En Rose, GREAT biopic about Edith Piaf. One of the trailers we saw beforehand was for a new flick Across the Universe directed by Julie Taymor, who also directed Frida (rec'd Oscar nomination for best music) and Titus (nominated Best Motion Picture Screenplay). She also won a Tony Award for directing Lion King as well as its Costume Design. This new flick looks really cool but it isn't due out until the end of September. It has mostly Beatles songs and an interesting cast.

| I saw a trailer for that movie on the Dreamgirls DVD. It did look very interesting. Set in the 60's in the middle of all the civil unrest and Vietnam.

| I really enjoyed Frida so I'm looking forward to Across the Universe. It doesn't come out until late September.
