| Whoopi Goldberg joins The View Hmmpph. I always find her quite boring when she's on. Don't think she will add anything to the show. Still wish they would put Sherri Shepherd on permanently. Whoopi succeeds Rosie on 'View'

| I wonder if she'll still continue to do her morning radio show. She didn't say very much last time I saw her on the View. I like Sherri Shephard too--- I've loved her since Friends.

| Another vote for boring. I didn't often agree with Rosie, but she was never boring

| I wouldn't rule Sherri Shepherd out just yet. I had read that they are trying to negogiate a contract and she might join the show later in the fall. I hope it's true because she is so funny!!

| Well, I stopped watching it after Rosie left. While I might not have agreed with everything she said, she certainly made things entertaining I don't think Whoopi will add anything, and would have rather seen Sherry Sheppard (always enjoyed it when she was on the show)!

| I don't like the show anyway, and almost never watch it. After five minutes, I usually change the channel. But I agree, Whoopi is pretty boring, and I don't have a whole lot of respect for her either (but that's another story....).

| I wasn't overly excited when I heard Whoopi would be the new host. I loved Rosie's show but didn't think she was the best fit for the View either. I had to make sure I knew who Sherri Shepherd was - I LOVED her on Raymond!!! She is funny and I did enjoy her the few times I saw her on the View. |

| I like Whoopie... but I agree that Sherri would be much more entertaining. Hopefully she'll be on more when Elizabeth is on maternity leave.
