Most traumatic band break-up (to you)?

Back in 1980, a friend and I had purchased tickets to see Yes. They were released nearly 6 months in advance; odd even for the early 80's.

Information traveled pretty slowly back then so needless to say we were surprised to find Trevor Horn and Geoff Downes take the stage in place of Jon Anderson and Rick Wakeman. Hey, we were only teens and to us, this was traumatic!! We were too shocked to listen properly at the start and it wasn't till later that we admitted to how good the "Drama" record was.

Matchbox Twenty (I really thought they were done for good)---- I was devastated. But, now they're back together, so I'm ecstatic!!!!!!!!!!!!! I can't think of any other band I was really upset about.

I do remember being upset about Wham (I was 11 or 12).

That I actually remember? N'Sync.

I'm still upset that I can't see Journey together, though.
