Going to the Movies By Yourself

Do you?

I wouldn't say I prefer going by myslef to the movies, but I certainly don't mind it.

If there is a movie I want to see and I haven't got plans to see it with friends then I have no qualms about going by myself.

But it seems some folks just won't do it. Is it weird to sit by yourself at a theater?

I saw The Sixth Sense twice in the theater by myself, but can't think of any other time that I have.

I use to go by myself all the time. When I was in A-school in the navy I would go to the movies on the weekend for the whole afternoon. I would see three or four movies.

Don't mind it at all! Luckily, my sister and I have the same taste in movies, so we often go together.

Yes I do. My taste in films differs at times from what my friends and DW like to see.

I don't think there is any better way to see a movie! I'd give almost anything for DH to suddenly say "Let me watch the kids tonight and you go see a movie by yourself."

I went to see a movie by myself the other week - I had a couple of hours to kill before meeting up with a friend after work, and it was a better place to wait than in a bar! There were other people watching on their own as well, and they all looked like nice normal folk to me.
