Heroes

Anyone else watching Heroes?

I have to say that this season could actually be better than last.

Care to discuss?

I actually completely disagree. I Heroes last season, and I'm still waiting for SOMETHING to actually happen this season. I think that so far, each episode has been an hour-long waste of time. Clearly, they're building up to something big, but at least last season, interesting things were occurring in the meantime.
Are we really to feel sorry for Hiro's father and the Petrelli mother? They were part of an evil organization that kidnapped "heroes" and tracked and killed them. Seems to me like they're getting their just desserts.
I also feel like there are a lot of scenarios/situations in this season that are poorly thought-out. For example, Peter and the Irish gang he's joined. Umm...at some point he realized that he's Peter Petrelli, unstoppable force. Just take the stupid box from the head of the gang! Find your identity that way!
The South American brother and sister have got to go! They've got the most annoying, uninteresting storyline ever...and I thought Nikki and Micah were bad.
And I'm really mad about them bringing back Sylar so soon. It's not that I wasn't prepared for the possibility that he didn't die last season. But really? Already in Season 2? Are you that hard up for villains this soon?
It seems to me that Heroes this season is trying super hard to be mysterious and twisty/turny like Lost. The main problem here though, is that Lost has far superior writers. Those people make living on an island look interesting. So far, Heroes are all over the world, and I still could care less.

I love watching Heroes. But, this season is just a bit too mysterious and suspenseful for me. I know that they are building up to something, but it's just too mentally exhausting late at night. I really loved when Hiro was in ancient Japan! That was cool.

Only a couple of episodes in and there's so many new characters - kind of makes you wonder how many of the story lines and people are going to cross together. I love the idea of new people, with new 'powers' too, but if I need a "who's who" to keep track then it'll be too tiring.

I'm still excited about it but haven't given it 3 thumbs up on the Tivo yet!

I agree. The whole flying boyfriend of Claire's is kindy hokey, too. But I am SO excited to see Kristen Bell next week. I her on Veronica Mars. I just hope she has a good story, since she turned down Lost to do this show.

I am only 2 episodes into the 3 that i had saved on my Tivo...and I am sucked into the show again just like last season. I just always want to see what happens next. The first episode was mediocre, and I think there is a little more "cheese" in it this year.

I LOVE the new characters from Central America and how the powers off set each other...I dont know why, but that seemed really interesting and I cant wait to see what they do.

So who do we think is the other "hero" that can see the little girl? I thought maybe it was Peter and Nathan's mom but that idea is gone...

LOVE Heroes!!!!!!

I actually yelled at the TV last night when Sylar said he was going to take Maya and Alejandro to Dr. Suresh.

I was glad to be introduced to Monica last night...I like her! (I liked her on The Nine, too!)

I'm enjoying this season! I'm glad I have something to entertain me while I wait til February for Lost to come back.
