| OMG- Twilight.... DD has been harrassing me about reading Twilight (get in line sister, I was already reading I Am Legend and Pride and Prejudice at kids' requests) so I FINALLY had a chance to start it yesterday. I am 100 pages into it and I LOVE this book! I don't even care what happens next, but my gosh, it is a fun read. I'm already sad knowing there are only three books (New Moon and Eclipse follow). I even think my son would like it. Anyway, how often does a book strike you this way? For me it seems to be one out of 20 that really get me excited to keep reading. And what are the titles?

| DD12s BFF has read them all and was telling her that she should read them, so she was going to lend her copies. Haven't gotten them yet, so maybe I'll just have to splurge....if you think they'll be that good. (It's hard to get DD into ANY book.....she rarely finishes one). Should I buy them?

| Now you've got me excited to check these out! I know where I'm going today... As for books like that, when I first started reading The Golden Compass (how appropriate, there's a movie opening soon!), I put it down about halfway through and went to buy the other 2 books in the series. They were amazing, and I'm constantly pawning them off on my friends to read because they're so good. Haven't heard a complaint yet, and one of my friends even did the same thing - gave me back my book, told me he hadn't finished it yet, but he was on his way to buy the whole series!

| I read Twilight a month or so ago and just LOVED it! My friend just gave me New Moon to read (I'm almost done with another book) and I can't wait. And like Renee mentioned, oh, to remember how it felt! |

| Ok, so now I'm done. Thank goodness for the sneak peak chapter of New Moon... Now, a moral dilemma: DD is getting New Moon for Christmas. How horrible of a person am I if I very carefully, without breaking the binding, read it before I give it to her???

| Thanks for the tip. Right now I'm reading the "His Dark Materials" trilogy which begins with "The Golden Compass". It's SO GOOD that I was having trouble deciding what to read next that wouldn't be a letdown. |

| I LOVE the Twilight series! I'm a HS English teacher and am the sponser of the Twilight Book Club after school. It is made up of both girls and boys who love this series. There is a fourth book coming out that is written in Edward's point of view (Midnight Sun, I think is the name). It is GREAT and just wait! If you're only on Twilight, it gets SO much better!!! If you love Edward, just wait until Jacob becomes a major character!! We have debates on who we like better! I'm a Jacob-girl!

| I have to say, I did get Twilight for my DD, of which she probably read the first three chapters before forgetting about it. I however picked it up last week and read it in about three days. Such a good story! Then on Sunday I borrowed the other two books from DD's BFF, and started New Moon, and yesterday (Monday), found myself crying like a baby while reading. I can't remember the last time I read a book that made me cry. Luckily I'm past that section now.... Thanks for suggesting these books, to all those who did!

| Wait till you finish New Moon ( oh yes, the crying...!!) and read Eclipse. I just read Dave Ramsey's Total Money Makeover and it was not so compelling, although interesting at times.

| It took me about two days to finish New Moon and I'll be done with Eclipse by tomorrow night most likely. I'll be so sad when I'm done. Thanks for the tip about the website....I was planning on looking at it at some point. Now I know I'll have to get on to read Edward's viewpoint.
