| I'm another one that agrees with the thoughts on the Eisner years. It seems that during those years, some of the magic faded. While I agree that Disney needed to make some changes to be able to maintain its status with the world at large, I don't think Eisner went about it quite the right way. I did like the way the new executives would go in and do their best to learn every aspect of how the parks were run so that they could make what they felt were the best decisions for the company. Even with some of the magic faded from the Eisner years, Disney is still the most magical place I can think of. |

| One book that I would recommend is The Overacheivers. It chronicles six (?) high school juniors and seniors as they go through the entire process of preparing and applying for college admissions. It was a very eye opening book and provides a very frank discussion of our education system. |

| I really enjoyed this book. It opened my eyes to alot of stuff that I didn't know about. I never really thought about everything that Disney had to overcome to make it the "Happiest place on earth". It makes me appreciate it that much more.

| How weird, I JUST got this book from the library today but hadn't actually even looked at this thread until tonight - the title caught my eye! I've only read maybe 30 pages, but it's great so far! Glad to hear so many of you enjoyed it.
