Another night that was a little boring for me. I'm not really a Mariah fan, but she was sweet to the contestants and did offer some great pointers. Best of the night was David Cook, he is really starting to grow on me and I was so excited that he did so well since his brother was in the audience.

I did something I've never done before....VOTED. I voted twice for Jason (by mistake....) and then for Syesha about 7-8 times. I think she gets the shaft from the judges every week, so I felt she needed some votes.

My order of best to worst...
Syesha -loved it
Kristy Lee -loved it (never thought I'd say that about her)
David A -one of my fav songs and he did it well
David C -interesting choice, I just wish he'd annunciate a bit more
Carly -overdid the last part, I liked the beginning
Jason -nice, but forgetable
Brooke -pretty horrible

I have never liked Mariah Carey or her songs. I loved what David C. did with that song. He was just so sweet at the end. I was about to cry with him. I'm so glad that his brother made it to the show.

Chrisy Lee- was pretty good this time and I really liked her song, as usual, she looked fabu!

Jason- he was a no go for me,
DAVID COOK-- awwwwwwwwsoooooommmmmmmeeeee. I downloaded the song as a ringtone. This is the 2nd one I bought the other was Chikesie's Shes A Woman

He did do really well last night but that is one of the first times I felt like I could honestly say that.
When he covered the Beatles he used a cover from a band I just happened to have heard already AND the same thing with Billie Jean (that one was in People because it was a Chris Cornell version). Clearly a lot of you guys love him so I won't stir the pot. I just think he is kinda a poser-- he just doesn's strike me as the "authentic" singer other people see. To each his own I guess.

I missed most of it again. I have a feeling you guys are right about Brooke, but I really like her and can't vote for her to go home. So, I'm saying Kristy Lee to go home. I think her weeks there are finally numbered.

David Archuleta did a really good job, just not great.
Carly Smithson did a great job. I liked her arrangement of the song, but I agree wit the judges that she needs more confidence.
Syesha Mercado did a great job and was quite comparable to Whitney and Mariah in my opinion.
Brooke White was eh - ok. I just don't see her being one of the final 4.
Kristy Lee Cook was eh. I keep praying that she gets sent packing soon
David Cook was awesome. I loved his arrangement. I voted for him tonight.
Jason Castro was good. He's another that I just dont' see sticking around to the end.

Winning: David Cook, He is just awesome and so original, although I think David A. will get a recording contract too, Randy gushes over him every week.

Going home: Brooke I really like her, but I don't think she really knows how to "perform". It bugs me that she is always behind the piano or guitar and she rarely looks at the camera.

As far as the others,
Syesha - I thought she was great!
Carly - She's getting boring, to me she sounds the same every week.
Kristy - I think she is improving. I liked her better than both Brooke and Carly this week.
Jason - I agreed with Randy and thought it was just weird. But then again, I don't care for him at all. I don't think he'll win, but I think he has enough fans to stick around for awhile.

Going Home - Brooke - She doesn't seem to be growing at all. Kristy should have gone home weeks ago, but last night she was better than Brooke.

Winning it all - This is hard. I think David Cook will have the best career, but I'm not sure if he's mainstream enough to win it, but right now he seems heads and tails above the rest - so I'll stick with him for now.
