OMG! If this is the same episode I am thinking of I recently watched it on DVD and a red flag went up! I thought for sure I knew it was going to be JFK jr, but then instead Carrie said Leo DiCaprio! I don't know if I was just flat out wrong or if my strange suspicion was right about it being changed on the DVD... and then again another option is that I am thinking of the wrote episode! lol!

Melissa--you are right!!! It was JFK Junior when the show first aired in early 1999. But then he died in the plane crash later that year so in a voice over it was changed to Leo!!! I did not see the original show--only caught up later so I was not aware that he had been changed!!! The originalHBO broadcast was July 4th 1999. JFK passed away on July 16th of that same month. That JFL was a popular guy!! He was also on Seinfeld. But I am not sure of the date on that one. (This was found in Entertainment Magazine by the way)

CANNOT wait!!!! I'm trying to figure out how to leave work and catch a matinee. DH told me to find a theatre that is playing it at midnight and go before work. That could make for an interesting day at work on Friday!!!

DS (12) had a similar reaction when I hinted that I was planning on sneaking out Thursday night for a 12:05 showing. He said, "How will you make sure to get us up for school on time?" Gee, he must think his 40 year old mom has no stamina

Great news for me. Took the whole family to see Indy yesterday and got great news. I received a voucher for a free movie (earned on the theaters loyalty card). Now not only can I see Sex in the City at 12:05 Friday morning but I can see it for free!!!!! Which is perfect because DH started complaining that he really wants to see it as well. Now I can see it twice without feeling an guilt.

Thats awesom! Rob and I got one also when we went to the movies this weekend also. We have been referring to the new Indy as "Indiana Jones and the Suckiest Sequel Ever" (excuse my French). So we considered it a reward for watching Harrison Ford power walk out of a collapsing Peruvian Temple and Shia LeBouf swing from vines with monkeys. LOL! So glad SATC is on its way!

Ooh, Scott, I didn't know you were doing questions. Please continue!

Last week when I was on my all girls' trip, we kept talking and talking about the show and the movie. There was four of us, and we discussed, at length, which charcter each of us was most like. Their characters are so defined, it's hilarious to hear people's reactions to when they hear their friends think they are "a Charlotte," "a Miranda," or "a Samantha."

I think I remember reading in an interview that Carrie said that Carrie was a little bit of all of the other girls rolled into one - and that's why people identify the most with her, as we're all a little bit of those characters in one.

Name at least two characters who died during the run of the show!!

(Or at least describe who they were--the names might be pretty obscure)

2. That crazy lady who fell out the window (am I thinking of the right show?) I think she was from 3rd Rock!

Oh the Post-it episode! One of my favorites when Burger breaks up with Carrie on a post it. DBF was asking the other night why women like that show so much. Personally it's because all those guys they date seem to be like someone I dated or a friend dated.

I about died when they showed Big's name. That whole series, their relationship reminded me a lot of someone I dated for years. It was one of those on again, off again relationships. Always intense, good and bad. And what was the ex's name? Yep, Jon.
Post it episode rocks!! Especially when they smoke that pot and she turns around and looks right at a cop!!! and the skinny jeans too such a great episode!!! Yeah this show is all the friends and relationships i've ever had! I loved the big reveal episode too i was jumping on my couch when the revealed his name!

Steve's mom did not die! But she did have some major mental issues. I remember her eating pizza from a garbage can on the street.

Did Charlotte have a miscarriage? Tell you the truth I do not remember that. Very sad if she did.

But she did have a friend who died very early in the series.

Myrapunzal wins the big prize!!!!!
