| DDuff, I saw it a few hours ago. And I still don't think its a teenage movie. But it was delightful. I want to take my wife next weekend to see it again. There is a lot of skin, but really nothing to object to!! I just loved it all. I am not sure I should give away anything here. All I will say is don't drink the water in Mexico(LMAO)

| The end was perfect! Not just the 4 women together but celebrating Sam's 50th birthday. After the whole big deal about Carrie being the last single girl in Manhattan at 40 something, Amen to them for celebrating a single woman in her 50s.

| I saw it yesterday and totally loved it. I can't wait to see it again, too. Just before he decided he wasn't showing up to the wedding, I said "if he doesn't show up, I'll kill him". As though I'd have the physical capability to reach through the screen and kill a fictional character! But that's how much you care about these characters. I don't think a person who hasn't seen the show would have that strong of an emotion. My heart was aching for Carrie, and I kept thinking "check your mail, check your emails, listen to your voicemails! He KNOWS he screwed up; he's trying to call you!" I LOL'ed at Charlotte trying to walk away in a huff in her bridesmaid's dress that was so tight she could only shuffle. Am I the only one who thought it was ironic that it was Miranda's words that changed Big's mind about marrying Carrie? Wasn't she the one who told him to go after Carrie at the end of the series? I liked the little nods to the fans who'd watched the whole series, like the white tutu while they were cleaning out Carrie's closet and some of the other outfits, and having Stanford and the wedding planner end up as a couple. I liked that they remembered Camdace Bergen was Carrie's boss at Vogue. I liked seeing Charlotte running with Elzabeth Taylor. I LOVED that the kid who played Brady looked exactly like a mix of Steve and Miranda. And it was funny when someone handed Carrie an iPhone at the wedding and she said, "I can't work this thing!" remembering the episode where Aidan tried to help her when her computer "ate" her column. Carrie was never very technically savvy, as also evidenced by her rotary phone by her bedside. Oh, and I've never really liked it, but I'll certainly never be able to look at sushi the same way again!

| Some movie critics said only a woman could love that movie. I disagree! I loved it and want to watch it over and over again!!! Like I said the language and nudity was a bit of a shock because I have only seen reruns on regular networks. But once I got used to all that it was fine. And it was so funny. There was some frank talk in there, but very realistic.

| I absolutely loved it. Although I do wish there had been more of their gay friends in it. Stanford(?) (Carrie's gay friend) and Samantha were always my favorites for some odd reason. One of my favorite scenes was when Charlotte's daughter Lily answered the phone by saying "Sex." I also loved the scene towards the end where Samantha's dog runs up the stairs of the neighbor's deck. When Samantha grabbed the dog and all but ran down the stairs I knew that she had realized that Smith was the one for her or that she wasn't cut out for relationships and would break it off and go back to NYC. I also loved the scene where the girls are talking and Samantha says something along the lines "...but he stayed with me through chemo." and Carrie replies with something to the effect of "Honey listen to yourself you just compared chemo to love." I really liked how Carrie's assistant became one of the girls without ever becoming one of the girls. Oh and Charlotte refusing to eat anything other than thos pudding cups and getting the runs in Mexico was classic. |

I agree about the irony of miranda telling big to go get her and then changing his attitude about the wedding in the end....

| i disagree too!! my DBF loved the show...and for different reasons that i loved the show....it was like a portal into my world with my girlfriends....he would always say ..."do you guys really talk about sex that much???*L* well yes i do anyway...and shopping and men....and other women...*L* I only saw the show on HBO......so when i was the reruns on regular tv i'm like "dang they really needed samantha saying etc etc to make it the show flow".....but it was VERY realistic of how life is especially relationships!

| I saw it last night and absolutely loved it - I tend to like "darker" movies but this one was so brilliantly done. I noticed a couple of women crying at certain points (and the Brooklyn Bridge scene got me straight in the gut). |

| There is a critic on another board. She didn't like the movie because it was too long(It was sort of long actually) but the main thing she hated about it was they talked about fashion way too much! They even mentioned fashions by name!!! LMAO!! Has this woman never watched the tv show??? Good grief woman--try Indiana Jones or something with less fashions in them!!!!
