Is anyone as excited as i am about the Sex and the city movie??? Any thoughts about it? just curious...i was a big fan of the show and am really looking forward to the movie and the wedding of Mr. Big and Carrie.....hope there are some other fans out there!

Love, Love, LOVE "Sex and the City". It was our first "Must See TV". DH loved it as much as I did. We are both looking forward to catching up. I hope Samantha's still the same bad girl! (Although I did love Smith!)

Me! I can't wait for the movie! I have a "movie date" set up with my Dad's fiance to see it, as we know it's a "chick flick" and something he won't want to see (and I'd probably be embarassed to see with him, although I did see Knocked Up with him, but that's a different story...). I own the whole series on DVD. I bought it before I knew TBS would be airing the episodes. I'd seen some of them on HBO and loved them and was sure that no network tv would ever air them b/c of their content and language. Little did I know...

Entertainment Weekly this week is devoting most of it's issue to SATC. It's a fun read, interviews with the stars of the movie, features on the fashions, an episode by episode guide, etc. Lots of fun info in there, plus a few little spoilers.

I can't wait to see what's happened to our girls.

I can't wait! Unfortunately I'm going to have to as my BFF and I promised each other we'd see it together but she will be out of town when it opens and I leave the day she gets back. We won't get to see it until the 3rd week of June!

Not only am I beyond excited about seeing the movie but it just hit me yesterday that I won't be able to see on opening day because of DDs Grade 8 Farewell. All along I'd been thinking oh I'll sneak out for an early matinee. Then I remembered I'm scheduled to help decorate for the farewell dance. I may have to see if any local theaters are doing a midnight showing and sneak out for that.

Me I can't wait!!!! I am worried about those gals though... from the looks of the previews I've seen I think we're in for a roller coaster of emotions!

YAYYYY!!! Me too....i do love samantha! She's great and from the previews i've seen on HBO she is still nasty as ever*LOL* (but i think smith jared is still around*L*)

Me too...im worried the HBO preview i saw this week said its nothing like an episode from the show but all the actors said its the best script theyve seen...so i'm hoping its great!

My DBF actually went on EBAY before the box set was even released and bought it all on DVD....we both love it believe it or not! So we have a date night set to go see it! I will have to pick up that entertainment weekly i didnt know that....

Well dont worry I wont spoil it for you...i know you will be so anxiously awaiting to see it...i thought i might not get to see it on opening night but my DBF said he would take me cause he knows i'm dying to see it....

I am beyond excited too!!! So glad i started this thread!!! I was thinking how im going to get off early that day and get our tickets early...believe it or not i'm even going to dress up and the shoes have to be just perfect duh*L* I hope you get to catch it!

I KNOWWWW!!! I thought the same thing it really worries me...the HBO preview alludes to a lot of different scenarios....i 'm taking tissue because I KNOW i will cry!!!

I CAN'T WAIT. I am seeing it with my BFFs and we are beyond excited. I read the SJP interview/Vogue piece on SATC today and I HIGHLY recommend it. If you love SATC, you'll love the piece - the pictures are AMAZING, especially if you love Carrie and Big together.
