| Star Wars: Love it or Hate it? With the coming of the Star Wars exhibit to the Science Museum of Minnesota, I am excited to re-watch all of the movies and check out all the props at the exhibit. In talking to DBF about it, apparently we are at odds in this regard. He doesn't quite share my "enthusiasm" for all things Star Wars.  So I am just wondering how many Star Wars fans are on the boards, and how many of you could easily go through life not knowing what a TIE fighter is?

| I am a proud Star Wars geek.  When I was 2 or 3, I told my mom that "RT-2 my best fren" (in my "speak" at the time, I couldn't say R2-D2 or friend.  )I currently have an R2-D2 figurine as a keychain! DH, the scruffy-looking nerf herder, told me I was a nerd because of it.  ETA: I send people who know nothing, or not enough, about Star Wars over to Star Wars Wiki - Wookieepedia and tell them to start studying up. This site still doesn't help me do any better at Star Wars Trivial Pursuit though. I stink at that game.

| Although I know it's not the show with Captain PICARD,  I am NOT a Star Wars fan. Never was...  The only reason I went with my friends was for Harrison Ford and they were all gaga over Luke for some ODD reason. Thankfully, Raiders of the Lost Ark came out and I was happy.

| luvluvluv me some Star Wars!! Well maybe not the last 3 movies......anyhoooo even for those 3 movies, I still got goosebumps when the theme music started!

| I am a fan, but only the 3 original ones...the new ones just don't have that feel for me...but I agree...I still get chicken skin when I hear the music...

| EVERYTHING about Star Wars I love. Besides the 6 movies, I've also read a ton of the "Expanded Universe" books, have all of the computer/video games, a ton of collectibles and have polluted the minds of my children with knowledge of all things Star Wars.
