I haven't watched the View in years but Kathy did say on her show that she has been re-banned from The View after telling a ummm, adult, story about Barbara Walters in her last Bravo special.

That pretty much describes Elizabeth and Joy. I think Elizabeth is that way because she is a very competitive person. Joy not so sure I think she may actually think she is better than the rest of us. Loving Whoppie she is definitely the only open minded see everything from more than one side person on the View. I feel sorry for Sherry she seems sweet but I'm not sure she is smart enough to handle unscripted TV. Just can't get over the world is flat discussion. As for Barbara, she drives me nuts. When she is on the panel, it always seems like this is my party and I'm the boss so you better kiss my #$%%^^^&.

It seemed to me that Joy changed a lot after Meredith left. I liked her then but now not so much

I agree that Whoopi adds some grown-up/level-headed stability to the show like Meredith did.

I hadn't noticed that but you are absolutely correct. I guess maybe I had assumed it was cranky old lady syndrome but let's face she really is the last of the original panel. Maybe she's just plain old tired of the show.
