| REALLY?! That's so weird as I was just watching Rue McClanahan this morning on the Today show . . . and they were showing old clips of the Golden Girls. She was actually being interviewed at about the same time it says Estelle died.

| I watch Golden Girls each night if I'm up late enough. I loved her stories that would start "Picture this - - " She will be missed.

| How sad. I remember when I was younger and my mom would always watch the show and I HATED it. Then I got older and found myself sucked in and laughing out loud at the TV.  Now it's a favorite of mine and I try to watch whenever it's on.

| Oh no! I hadn't heard this! I was so surprised the first time I saw her without her "Golden Girls" makeup - she was a lot younger than the character she played.

| RIP and condolences to her family. I haven't watched this show in a long time. I don't know why as I always enjoyed it - it was a funny show, especially when she was making comments about "Rose" or "Blanche".
