| DISNEY MOVIE CLUB? Any members? Just wondering if it's a good deal?? When you sign up, you get a free Donald DVD binder. Does anyone have this binder? If so, is it just a regular cd/dvd binder(that's what is looks like) or is it something special?? View Best Selling Movies and DVDs Available for Disney Movie Club Members |

| I had joined when they offered a really good intro deal. Now that the intro deal is done I don't think the savings are really there. You can get the same DVDs in the stores for the same price. There's usually only a bargain to be had if you order more than one DVD (one at regular price, one at 50% off kind of deal). I just completed my obligation and plan on cancelling my membership.

| Hi, I thought this was a great opportunity, signed up a few years ago, and then found out that I could get the movies quicker & usually cheaper through local Walmart. I got through our obligation and cancelled our membership too.

| I signed up a couple weeks ago and just got my first movies today. I got 5 for 25.00 but that was the into deal. I will probably also cancel after I finish my contract with them. I am movie crazy so hubby said all I can get is Disney movies for right now and thats why I joined.

| We've had it for several years now. The intro was great (we didn't get the binder so I don't know about that). We've bought enough to achieve VIP status and we get some great offers. I got one this week for $4.98 DVDs and there were a ton to choose from. We're happy with it.

| Like most things, the intro deal is great, but then reality sets in. I got a "free" Mickey canvas tote with mine. I have fulfilled my obligation but have yet to cancel. Probably will though.

| We have been members for years as well....the intro deal was great and we have acheived VIP membership so we get some good deals if we buy more than one... If there was still those mail in cards I would have cancelled but I do it online so it is easy to pass up so I have just kept it going... Lately though I have been buying those "special double duo deals" which are pretty good since I don't have a Target or Walmart near me and when you go into the local Rite Aid they are more money so when something comes out I order it... The kids enjoy getting them in the mail so we are happy with it... |

| We have been memebrs for years and have been very happy with it. You just have to make sure you decline the monthly featured DVD. You can get it cheaper at Wal-Mart. After we moved, I forgot to check it and the club sent me 101 Dalmations for $24.95. UGH! I already had it, so I am saving for a birthday gift. When we signed up there was an awesome deal and we recieved a few Disney DVD's for free, I believe it was or a penny, something like that. We have fulfilled our obligation and are VIP's. Now, I only buy items that are on sale, but I always check Wal-mart's or Target's prices first. Good luck!

| the deals are great for the older animation ones... the prices aren't bad depending on the movie and there are some movies that they only allow to be sold in the club... but for recent release I would say no probablly your local stores would have a better deal

| Thanks for the info! I was going to sign up but i think I'll stick to buying them at the local stores. I don't like the idea of having to send in the monthly cards. Knowing me, I might forget to send it in. |

The intro deal was great and started my "library" of movies. Now, I tend to find them cheaper at Sam's Club. A word of warning, make sure to respond to the emails right away. It's even a good idea to set a reminder for yourself when the emails should come -- that way, you can go to the site directly and opt out of the movie if you don't want it. (From someone who forgot to do this with Cinderella, Air Buddies, and National Treasure, I'm never doing this again!) Eileen

| If you get a movie you don't want, you can send it back to them and they will credit the money right back to your card. The only thing is that you do have to pay the mailing costs.

| We have been members for years. We intended to fulfill our obligation and be done but the VIP offers actually work out to be a good deal sometimes and it is really fun. We do have the binder and it is pretty cute. The free pins are AWESOME. They used to say movie club on them but now they are giving some without too. I have been able to receive one every time I order. Also I reply online every month. A couple of times I forgot and just wrote return to sender and stuck it back in the mail. I even got a confirmation when I was credited so I knew they got it. The other thing that is cool is the special goodies you can get like collecter cards, stuffed animals, ect in some orders. The mailings sometimes have things like stickers, window clings, Valentines, tattoos and iron ons.
