I guess I am in the minority here. I hated Depp in Willy Wonka. He was just too creepy for words. Plus, I loved the original. Now don't get me wrong, I love Depp and the Depp/ Burton combo (Ed.Sc.Hands/ Corpse Bride...) but I'll have to see the trailers first.

Another vote for "please no!"
I loved Johnny Depp in the Pirates movies. But after I saw Willy Wonka in the theater I wanted to go home and take a shower. He just creeped me out.
I hate to think what he'll do to my beloved Mad Hatter.

Tim Burton and "Alice in Wonderland" sound like they might be made for each other. They're both a little "trippy". Wonder if Helena Bonham Carter will be the Queen of Hearts.

plus i don't get the whole burton thing...he's probably one of the weirdest guys in hollywood...and to me that is saying alot!!
