Anyone interested in a Last Lecture book club?

In four or five weeks, it is going to be time to start a new book club. I had a request for Last Lecture, which sounds like a wonderful idea to me. It is a short book with pretty easy reading. Anyone who is interested, please give a shout-out.

Hope to see you there.

I am currently reading this book. I would enjoy a discussion about it!

Welcome aboard! I'm thinking about Sept 1st as a good starting date. I actually have to go get the book myself (I've listened to the lecture several times).

Any thoughts on how you'd like to break up the reading?

The chapters are super small, some only a page or two. It is a very fast read.

I see. Thanks for the info, Debi. Any thought on how to handle the discussion?

I have been wondering about that Sandra. While there is some sense of sequentiality, the topics are scattered and random. the easiest approach would probably be to read say, 3-4 chapters (depending on the length). Prof. Pausch manages to squeeze a lot into a few sentences, so I do think there will be ample material to discuss. If anyone has any better ideas, speak up...this is a great book and I look forward to chatting it up with all of you!

I should try reading it. I tend to read classic literature instead of current books. Can I join the book club???

OK, lets do it that way and we'll let the conversation take its own path and see where it leads us. That sounds like a fun way to approach it!

Hi Scott! I have a feeling you will add many laughs to our discussion.

Just remember not to let the book club distract you from your primary objective of keeping Janice busy!

OK, everyone, you have 4 weeks to get ahold of your books!
