Iron Man DVD

Does anyone know when this is suppose to come out? I saw a "pre-release" order thing at one of the local stores, but they aren't answering their phone so I can't get the answer from them. I am REALLY wanting to get this DVD for my FDH.

Have any of you ever seen the Animated version of the movie? We got it on Netflix a few years ago....it was really good. You could rent and watch it while you wait for the 2008 human version.

It's not an "animated version," it's a completely different movie. And having bought the animated movie when it was released, I can say that the live action movie completely blows it away.

I bought the animated Iron Man movie on the strength of the two Ultimate Avengers movies (the first of which was excellent, the second of which left me a little dissapointed). But The Invincible Iron Man is not as good as Ultimate Avengers, and is not a patch on the live action Iron Man.

I'm a little biased, but I think RDJ made the movie, he was SO perfect for Iron Man, so I can't imagine any other version. Right, Janice?

What I was saying......was if you wanted to watch something in the meantime....there is an animated version to rent out there (that is pretty good!).

RDJ in animation? Now that might just give The Mouse a run for his money! I could see a Cameo now... rising up at the end of Fantastmic is IRON MAN conducting with sparklers and saving the day! Or maybe when the villians get kicked in "Wishes" Iron Man can say "They're all yours!".

WHEW! Nothing like a hero in a flying iron suit, I always say!
