Good Morning Book Club! HEre is my progress on achieving my childhood dream of becoming a best selling author.Gray, you said I keep hearing the Einstein quote that my Dad always says, "Insanity: doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results." I've been thinking alot about that as I work toward my goals. I can honestly say that, today, I will make a big dent in that book by organizing better and being willing to make some "final-ish" decisions as to how I will present it for other people's comments. BTW, I met my new class for this college semester yesterday, and I have to say, my first impression is that they are DELIGHTFUL!!! Not in a fake, apple polishing way, but in an interesting, fun way. I think this should be a great semester! Hope everyone has a great day!

| Chapter 8-Virtual reality in World Book I just read the chapter where Randy was asked to write the chapter for virtual reality in the World Book. Can you imagine someone calling and asking you to do something like that? It made me think what would my coolest surprise phone call be? Hmmm, lemme think here. I think my coolest surprise phone call would be from an agency that wants we to be an LD/ADHD/millennial employee consultant specializing in travel and hospitality. They would send me to Disney world (where I would get my badge), they'd need me to go along on a few of the Adventures by Disney trips, they would send me to Paradise Island in the Bahamas and they'd need me to do something on The World (the ship that is full of condos). Of course, I'd be able to plan my schedule around my current consulting positions so I would not have to quit those. Oh, and ALL the travel would be free and they'd treat me REAL special. OK, that is my phone call. How about you?

| I'm actually waiting for my phone call right now. I have 8 job applications in at WDW and any one of them would thrill me and bolt me to a lifelong dream. The ideal would be the call from WDW about the social networking manager's job. From what I understand, it involves working closely with the Moms panel and it involves a lot of writing. Me, writing, moms, and Disney...does it get more perfect than that??? Maybe...I applied for one today that is an area retail manager, so something like the Main Street East shops or Adventureland or something. It's the first line manager's manager. I read that job description and said, "OH, YEAH!"

| Something else I was thinking about while reading the chapter is my "rock star" moment. You know that moment when you accomplish something really cool? I do scrapbook shirts and sell them at conventions and scrapbook shows. I have stores order them for uniforms and whatnot. Last year, we had done a show in Huntsville, AL and on the way home, stopped in Nashville to take hubby to the Aquarium restaurant (it's Rainforest Cafe meets Coral Reef) for lunch. On our way to the restaurant, we passed by a shop and something caught my eye. There in the window of a scrapbook store at the Opry Mills Mall was MY shirt! Front and center with a spotlight on it!!! I whipped out my cell phone camera and was downright GIDDY. MY shirt. In a SHOP WINDOW. In a HUGE mall that gets tons of tourist traffic! Total rock star moment. I know how Randy felt when he showed his article to his kids... Has anyone else been a rock star, even for a moment???

The first thing that comes to mind, maybe from what you said about taking the cell phone picture, was the first time I went to Barnes and Noble and saw a whole shelf full of PassPorter books. It was the first guide I'd worked on and my picture and bio was inside. Maybe that is not the ULTIMATE realization of my dream to fill a book shelf with something I wrote, but, I can honestly say it was a pretty good start! I snapped the picture and it is still in my phone today!

| "One of My Rock Star Moments (Or, as I call them: my "HOLY COW!" moments)" OK, it might sound silly, but I once ran the bases at a major league stadium in front of 1000's and it totally made my day! I loved it, ran like crazy and could see my daughter's in the crowd cheering me on like I had just hit a grand slam. I think of it as one of those "HOLY COW!" moments that really make me smile.

| Well I don't think she actually recorded mysong. As soon of you may be aware I tend to write funny stuff. I wrote a song making fun of one of her songs!! She did a song called Silver Dagger. (Don't sing love songs you'll wake my mother. Shes sleeping here right by my side. And in her hand is a silver dagger. She says that I can't be your bride.) Well I had a dream that Joan Baez and Mr Ed(The famous talking horse) appeared on the Ed Sullivan Show and sang another version of that! (Don't sing love songs you'llwake my horsy. She sleeping right right by my side. And on her head is a silver feedbag. She neighs that I can't be your bride!!) Ok not exactly Shakspear but fun to write. And posted on my wall is the letter that I got from Joan. And the following message. "Dear Scott Truly inspired I must say. I'm not too sure about the commercial value. but then Silver Dagger didn't have a hook or a beat so who knows? I may see you and your group on Johnny Carson one of these days. Love, Joan Baez (Underneath that is a drawning by Joan of two hourses giving a concert! One is playing guitar and one is playing drums--amazing)
