My DH likes that show a lot. So much that he would record it on the DVR. Then the boys would watch it in the am when they get up. Not sure I liked the youngest listening to all those bleeps, so no more DVRing. But the oldest DS (13) and DH like the show a lot. Sometimes makes me wary about eating out!!
It amazes me how so much of his advice is basic common sense -- I was addicted to the BBC version and sort of like the US version (except the US restaurateurs are so much more clueless. Eeeeep!)
I have to admit that much of my interest in Gordon has to do with how he looks when he changes into his chef's coat. Hubba hubba!

His autobiography is fascinating and provides alot of insight to his personality and the way he interacts with people. I love both of his shows both on Fox and BBC.
I didn't like the show at first because all I got to was the swearing and yelling. But when you really watch, all he is trying to do is help these people clean up their acts and save their restaurants. I wonder what he would find if say they did shows on all the eateries at DTD...Not saying it would be bad, but interesting to watch

Travis and I always make bets on how many times he's going to go shirtless in an episode; we also get extra points if he goes in the bathroom and makes barfing noises! (We could totally make a drinking game out of it! ).
We always Tivo the Fox episodes, but I've also seen the BBC version - it has its pros and cons for me - the pros are I really enjoy the uncensored cursing, because he seems to get a lot more worked up when he knows he's not going to be bleeped every 3 seconds ; the cons are that the BBC owners aren't as ridiculous as the American ones
