| Jennifer Hudson and other Grammy Performances I know I'm writing this in the middle of the show, but did any of you see Jennifer Hudson's performance? Wow....she brought me to tears - I thought she did a wonderful job. Her voice is absolutely amazing - although I should confess she was not my favorite on Idol. Who were you favorite performers of the night?

| She has been my favorite tonight, too. And, I love Disney . . . but why did they ever tell Miley that she can sing? I think her voice is just painful.

![]() I have to tell you I am in the same boat you were! I was too distracted by her dress and reading the boards to know who those people were - I've never heard them before ![]()

| #1 . . . Justin Timberlake should be the only one ever allowed to cover Al Green after seeing that performance, IMO. MAN that boy can sing. #2 . . . Paul McCartney with Dave Grohl on the drums was . I love The Beatles and the Foo Fighters so to see them both there . . . loved it.#3 . . . Coldplay. I could have done without Jay-Z or whatever, but I still absolutely ADORE Coldplay. #4 . . . I didn't hate the Jonas Brothers and Stevie Wonder. ![]() #5 . . . Gwyneth Paltrow introduced Radiohead (with the USC marching band). Radiohead is one of my ABSOLUTE favorite bands. The whole marching band thing was a little weird at first but it actually fit with the song. OH . . . and I liked the tribute to Bo Diddley with John Mayer, Keith Urban, Buddy Guy and B.B. King. ![]() However, U2 has been my very favorite band since I was about 10, but I am NOT crazy about their new song. I was kind of disappointed by their performance. And Katy Perry = YUCK. ETA: Led Zeppelin never won a Grammy (until they were given a Lifetime Achievement award in '05) . . . and tonight Robert Plant won FIVE. Nothing like playing catch up 40 years later, Robert.

| SO don't like Katy Perry...IMO she will be one of those 45+ one hit wonders hitting the county fair circut someday.... Kanye West is so horribly obnoxious...why do they keep bringing him on? Loved Stevie Wonder, Taylor Swift was wonderful, but Miley...yikes! Cold Play rocked, and loved Kid Rock! I still have more to watch...!

So, apparently, even Miley is in pain when listening to herself sing, is that it?
