| I picked up Table for 5. So far, I never would have guessed it was the same author! The entire emotion of the book is so different from the Willow Lake books! I also picked up Irish Magic, but haven't started it yet.

The "Flavor" of the Lakeshore CHronicles is also quite different from the first Susan Wiggs book we read, Just Breathe. So far, I think that may have been my favorite, but I enjoy these also. I guess it makes sense that all the books about this particular group of people who hang around this particular location much of the time would have a similar style.

| I just joined you for the last one, "The Winter Lodge". Which book(s) came before that one in the Lakeshore series? Are there any others you read of hers beside the "Just Breathe" you mentioned above?

| I had picked up Lakeside Cottage. The basic plot formula wasn't too different, but it had some unique nuances. I'll have to try Just Breathe.

1: Summer at Willow Lake 2: The Winter Lodge 3: DOckside 4: Snowfall at Willow Lake 5: Fireside 6: Lakeshore Christmas (October 2009) The Summer Hideaway (March 2010 8: Daisy + Logan + Julian (2011) If you'd like to read ahead, I'd suggest reading Fireside if you haven't already, because we've already read that one. Also, if you have not yet bought Just Breathe, I'd suggest not buying it just now, just take my word until further notice! Here is a cute cartoon about this series. ![]() (This glimpse into the future comes to you courtesy of the multitalented Suzanne Selfors.)

Hey everybody! Been MIA from all my sites for so long not sure if anybody will remember me anywhere. I feel like Ricky Nelson - "When I got to the garden party, they all knew my name No one recognized me, I didn't look the same"

| Still plugging along with the reading! What a drama! My life seems so simple right now compared to all that!

| Totally off topic, but I just finished a Jennifer Crusie novel. Now if you want to analyze people, this book is the ticket. Makes the psople of Avalon seem downright normal!

I got to the part where they are looking in the attic and finding all sorts of "treasures". Have you ever found a treasure in an attic or an antique store?Once, I bought an old photo of a cat in an old frame. When I got it homw, I discovered a photo of a woman hidden behind the cat. She looked like the classic German Matron, and I think there was some German writing. I still wonder who she was and why was she hidden behind the cat. I'm going to make a suggestion. For those who are finished, I'll suggest picking up Fireside, which is the book in the series that we've already read. Please feel free to discuss fireside here, because it is the same people and places anyway. How does that sound? (Some people have already PMed me about Fireside, but I want to share your thoughts and comments with everyone!)

![]() Thar be treasure! Let's see...treasure in the attic or an antique store? ![]() But...we bought our current house from an adorable older couple who designed and constructed it about 15 years ago. They were perfectionists! (The house hasn't been the same since! ) There was a gorgeous heavy maple table w/chairs in the dining room that I feel in love with. It set the entire ambiance for the house. I had met the woman and in a minute she told the realtor that she liked me and wanted us to have the home. She immediately took about $10K off the purchase price. The realtor was shocked because the woman hadn't liked anyone who'd come to see their home! So that's one of my treasure tales!
