It was sort-of a spoof on the Brady Bunch, which was Mr. Monk's favorite show. His favorite child star (Elizabeth Perkins) was all grown up and wrote a tell all book.

Mr. Monk started out as a fan, then when there was an incident, he had to figure out who was trying to kill her and why.

There were some cute imagined scenes with Mr. Monk playing the role of the older brother (suspiciously looking alot like Greg Brady) and some satire on the silly way that the Brady's discussed things with each other.

After much adorable and familiar quirky behavior, he solved the crime and brought the right people to justice.

As usual, it pretty much ended with everyone happy except for the bad guys.

Watched in yesterday. This one was way too easy to figure out.

My kids declared it one of the "annoying" ones. We are finding more and more as the seasons have gone by that the "annoying" ones trump the "good" ones. We deem one to be annoying if Adrian spends way too much time being annoying rather than funny or endearing.

Oh.... DH and I had a good laugh when the Adrian character walks through the door of the Cooper house and the 'audience' claps and claps and claps. We had to explain to the kids that was how it used to be when shows were done in front of an audience instead of with laugh tracks.....you had to wait until the audience stopped clapping before you could recite your next line.....and that they were making fun of that with it going on forever.....

I thought that was really well done also! I remember how the characters would try and wait without reacting.

Monk figuring it out and explaining to the audience what happened in the dream sequence was very clever and well done. I loved him in that wig it was great! I am really excited about tonight's episode for 2 reason, Mr. Echo from Lost will be on the show as (the foreign man) and we get a new clue in the Trudy murder mystery! There are so many clues so far so it will be nice to get some new info!

Yes, I watched last week's and loved that one! It was much easier to sit back with the suspension of disbelief and not immediately guess whodunit!
I'm also excited for tonight's episode too...

I was cracking up at this one! They have just been getting better as the season goes along, so I hope they keep it up.

This episode was really good, very funny! I loved seeing Mr. Monk in the desert he was just too much when he used his water to wash his hands, I was laughing to hard at that part. Also thought that Natalie and Captain Stottlemeyer thinking that Monk being an alien would make so much sense and the internet people in the end doing their hands like Mr. Monk does when he is figure out things was priceless!

THAT was clever.

I keep wondering, though, are we our own brand of internet people, and the outside world will look in on us and wonder why we are so obsessed with Disney? (hands on my head and wiggling like Mouse Ears when I say that.)
