| Twilight Series for a new fiction reader I just impulse bought Twilight, New Moon and Eclipse from Amazon. I am not usually a reader of fiction (im the one reading a text book on the beach normally sociology or psychology related much to DBFs disgust I watched the Movie and really enjoyed it and thought the book would have to be very descriptive. Do you think these books are good, would you recommend them? or have i made a huge mistake? (I say huge because I bought them out of disney money which is obviously very important

As far as your comment on being dyslexic, I teach college students with learning disabilities, including dyslexia, and just by looking at the way you used words on your post, I'd say you are off to a great start! Vocabulary and spelling develop with exposure to various words, so keep reading and before you know it, you'll be a pro.

| I came to the boards and asked the same question a month or so ago. I bought Twilight and read it in less than 2 days once I started it. I went out and bought the other books and within a very short amount of time I had read them all! I never thought I would read a book about vampires, let alone an entire series! Happy reading!

| I'm hearing alot of good things about these books! Doing a book discussion really adds to the reading if you'd think of starting one.

| I finished the entire series in less than a month. Then, I re read them again! (I've actually read Twilight three times, the following books just twice each.) LOVE THEM! Great choice! Take your time and soak up every detail!

| I finished the series in two weeks. I think they are very entertaining and I am an adict and want more!! I do think the movie was disappointing, but what movie isn't when compared to the book. One thing I would suggest is when you are reading is put yourself back in your 16 yr old shoes and that will help you get past a lot of the "OMG I love you" stuff. I feel the book is not the most well written piece, but it is written perfect for a young adult looking for something quick, easy and entertaining. |

My dyslexia is not that bad but I'm very aware of it and my tutor has already flagged it in my application essay submission Quote:

| i love the twilight books! i got twilight grudgingly because i swore to myself i wouldn't become one of those freaky obsessive twilight addicts, but i wanted to see what all of the fuss was about, but the second i started reading twilight i couldn't put it down. read it in 2 days. i ordered the next three and read new moon in one friday night, and eclipse i finished that weekend. and of course i ended up getting my mom hooked the same day we left for our cruise last november. that was not the best of plans, she barely left the stateroom for the first few days, she just wouldn't stop reading.

| Money very well spent! I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE the series. DH bought me Twilight a couple of years ago and it sat on my shelf for almost 18 months before I finally gave in and read it in one night. I couldn't put it down....excellent book and the series only gets better! I've read all of the books twice since then and have read all of the outtakes and Midnight Sun on Stephenie Meyer's website. I can't wait to hear what you think of them!
