| Did Anybody Else See "The Time Traveler's Wife"? I went with a friend today to see this movie, and I really enjoyed it. It definitely was a "Chick Flick", so I was glad I saw it sans DBF as I know it wouldn't have been his type of movie.

| Not yet. I'm almost finished the book. Someone organized about 20 girls in my neighborhood to read the book, and go to see the movie, but it's hard to find a date that works for 20 people. We're still working on finding the date to go see it. Glad you liked it!!!!

| I loved the book, but I am not sure I will see the movie. I liked Henry very much in the book, with his punk rock music taste, etc. The movie seems to be a total chick flick and the book was not. Did you like the movie? I'm torn, because I enjoyed the book so much I think the movie will disappoint. And DH really does not want to go, lol. Beth

| I haven't seen the movie or read the book. But I want to - and I've wanted to read the book for quite a while, just haven't had the time. Maybe it'll be my "Yeah, finals are over!" gift to myself. |

| DH surprised me and took me to see it for our 11th anniversary. We don't get out much and when we do we only see G rated movies, so I thought he'd definitely pick The Hangover. He said he wanted to see something romantic and took me to see The Time Travller's Wife Instead. We both loved it and I can't wait to read the book. Let me know how you like it.

| I read the book and mostly enjoyed. I am curious how the movie handled the back and forth between time periods. Was it confusing?

| Thanks for posting the mini review. I am reading the book now and enjoying it. Now I will probably see the movie when I'm finished.
